It was a lovely stay! With an amazing view of face rock and the ocean! The room was nice and clean just a little plain other than the perfect balcony view. I definitely would stay again!

Lobby was nice, pool was sufficient, rooms were old/rustic…the view was spectacular, especially at sunrise!

Room had an excellent view of the ocean. Fireplace kept me warm so i could enjoy the sound of the waves. Room was clean. Balcony was wet due to rain so not too usable. Homeless person approached me when parking when coming back from dinner one evening, was a bit disconcerting.

The view is unprecedented. It is very relaxing to just sit in the room and watch the waves and rocks. Very nice bed and room but the view is wonderful. Not our first visit.

Great place to stay. Room had direct beach access and provided a place to get some wonderful sunset photos. Would stay here again and highly recommend the facility.

We stayed at Sunset Oceanfront Lodging for three nights. We came for the waves and to be close to Shore Acres State Park. We were not disappointed!! We were in the Vern Brown Addition so it was just like being on the beach. Can't say enough good about this place. It was perfect for us.

Balcony and view from room was the absolute best available on the West Coast! Room was a little "cold" in its grey furnishings. We brought along a floor rug that made all the difference. Room also needed a lamp for the dining table. We also brought Adirondak-style chairs so we would have comfortable, lean-back seating to enjoy the view.

Room was very old! Walls were so thin we could hear everything from the next door! Walk path to beach was old and not ok to walk down plus with the winds branches and brush covered the walking stairs.

heater didn't work until a repairman can and fixed it. bed squeaked. hot water came out of the cold water tap. poor breakfast selection. But great view.
