Gem in a transitional neighborhood

Hotel was exquisite inside - beautiful lobby area with bar, rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. Wish the area around the hotel was better — there was very little open on a late Sunday afternoon, and the lack of a hotel restaurant meant we had to rely on food delivery services. But the location is great for events at the arena.

Baltimore is a cesspool. The area around the hotel is not safe and smells like urine and weed. The hotel is beautiful and we had no problem with parking. We were in Baltimore for a convention & I’m hoping that they hold the convention somewhere nicer in the future. It is clear that the residents of the city don’t care about it.

Don’t go at night no where to park!

One it took forever to get downtown only to find we had the wrong hotel and had already paid for parking that we didn’t need. Once we found the hotel all the parking was filled up out front and the garages were all closed around this hotel.. so we called and told them that there was no parking but they assured us we were wrong so we circled back around with hungry and kids and a baby only to find once again there was no where to park. Called again only to tell them this time to just cancel since we could not even park anywhere near this hotel and had to get another further out the city..

When staying here, go right when you come out of the door. Do not go left. Repeat -- no left. That area looks like something from a police drama where even the Dwayne Johnson sized character won't go there alone. The hotel itself was a new remodel, and lovely.

The area is awful. When I arrived with 2 young girls, I was locked out and the security guard did nothing but facetiously wave at me. When I was let in the gentleman who checked me in acted like I was an inconvenience. He changed my room despite the hotel seeming empty. He was frustrated when my card chip was not read correctly. Around 3:30 am our room was overpowered with food smells from the kitchen despite being on the 7th floor. It was awful and we were all awakened. The noise that started outside of our window was also atrocious at 6 am and the curtains didn’t close so the sunlight was pouring in- so if the other things hadn’t awakened us that would have. The tv glitched the entire time. It was awful. I want my money back.

Located next to Lexington Market,and walking distance to Camden Yards is a huge plus for this beautiful and friendly staffed hotel. Beautiful interior, comfy bed, surprisingly quiet rooms and a very serviceable breafast bar and fitness room. My only concern was the speed of the wifi. Some services on the tv streaming couldn't load, so it made it pointless to offer the service. Other than that, Five Stars.

Good overall

The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast could have been arranged better to keep the flow moving. There needed to be a second waffle maker. Our room did not have black out curtains. The rod and hooks were there but no curtain. Construction started at 6:10am on a building next door. Walking distance for the baseball game.
