I stayed at the Lord Baltimore Hotel from Aug 1–3, 2025, for a birthday stay and was extremely disappointed. The room was poorly maintained black grime down the wall from the vent, a peeling/scratched headboard, loose towel bar, mildew and bad caulking in the tub, misaligned sink handles, and a peeling smoky film on the window. One of the main reasons I booked was to enjoy the LB Sky Bar, but service there was equally disappointing. After ordering wings and drinks, the cook left the wings sitting uncovered for over 15 minutes while scrolling on her phone. No one brought them or called out our table number, so I refused them when finally told they were ready. The only positive was the friendly front desk associate, Ashley. Otherwise, this stay was not worth the money, and I will not return. Prior to doing this review, I sent a message to the hotel directly. They have yet to respond.
This grime was consistent from the top of the ceiling all the way down to the floor.
This was some sort of grime that was leaking from the ceiling down past the vent all the way to the floor. I started to wipe it because I didn’t want it in pictures. It was easy to wipe off again, showing the lack and care of the cleanliness.
This is just another demonstration of laziness on the part of the establishment and lack of consistency with the aesthetics.
The towel bar was falling off the wall very loose, especially when towels were hung on it.

We were only at the hotel for one night so we didn't have the chance to enjoy many amenities. The bar area was really nice but the staff seemed short handed and we only stayed for a brief amount of time.

Came in at 3 check in was in at 4 which is pretty late in the day but they let me check in early for free so that was nice. Bed was nice, AC was good, the bath/shower was ancient and very short. Overall it got the job done, if you need to go to Bank arena the walk was so close it felt like cheating .

The hotel wasn’t clean. There was a mouse in the lobby which was running through the lobby restaurant. Bar staff didn’t bat an eye about it. We were told it’s kind of expected for the area so I’m not sure about that. Dirty sheets on my bed. Room phone didn’t work, several people had key card entries that stopped working. I will say though that the highlight was the staff. They were willing to quickly assist. Very pleasant to deal with. Staff was concerned about my experience and tried to help. This is a historic hotel and so it didn’t have updated rooms or amenities. No overhead lights in the room. Rooms were large and there was so much space to spread out which was very nice. It’s also a haunted hotel so there were people there doing ghost tours or something.

What they can improve on is the morning staff at the front desk... they don't speak or make eye contact with you. I asked a question and was ignored. The staff on Tuesday night were amazing!
