This classic N.C. style beach house has been an island favorite for more than 30 years. Totally renovated and well appointed, with lots of extras. Sleeping for up to 11, making it an outstanding value per person and per bedroom.
The spacious living room and dining area have plenty of room for the entire family, with enough seating to enjoy meals together, play cards, or build puzzles.
The layout makes it ideal for two families to share. The two masters have king beds and the other two rooms have either pairs of twins or full beds. A unique feature is the kid's loft that's accessed by climbing a ship's ladder on a bedroom wall, featuring three beds and a half bath. It's a great place for the kids to get away from the parents - and the parents to get away from the kids. (Sometimes the key to a perfect family vacation.)
The furnishings draw rave reviews and are constantly being updated. The decks in front and back catch the sea breezes from all sides. The nearby beach access, only a quick walk away, has one of the best beaches on the island.
For the past two decades, this house is famous (or infamous) as the site of the island's end of summer party every Labor Day. It's easily the largest party on the island every year, proving there's plenty of room for your Perfect Family Vacation too.
And you can even bring the pets.
