Fantastic hotel!

Fantastic hotel! We would definitely stay here again. The staff were lovely, and the food was excellent. Our room was warm and comfortable with everything we needed - a few cobwebs and a dusty vase lost them a star on cleanliness. Overall though, we loved it and would highly recommend!

Brilliant stay in Ashford-in-the-water.

The Ashford Arms is a lovely friendly cosy Hotel. Our room the Aisseford suite was ver spacious and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and there was always someone around to help us.

Lovely hotel!

Gorgeous hotel! We stayed for one night, friendly staff and lovely room which was clean. Hotel bar and restaurant lovely and breakfast very good. Not too far from Bakewell, we had a walk in and called at Thornbridge brewery on the way. We would definitely stay again.

Great location, lovely character

Great location, lovely character to the building and very friendly & helpful staff. Restaurant is very good value. The only thing that would have improved the stay would be to offer a continental buffet for the Breakfast as well as a hot option.

Lovely boutique hotel serving excellent meals

A thoroughly enjoyable overnight stay at this boutique hotel.We stayed in a junior suite which was very comfortable and spacious. Slight niggle that the loo flush requires attention and there was an absence of facial tissue which we would expect to find in a hotel of this standard but it did not detract too much from our stay. Our evening Meal of home made chicken and mushroom pie followed by chefs own Bakewell tart with raspberry ice cream was delicious.

Weekend stay

I don't often leave a review but this place was outstanding room was comfortable and spacious. The food is top notch the only thing better than the food was the service at the restaurant. We will be back and would recommend to all our friends.

A really great stay.

What a little gem The Ashford Arms was. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms very nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. Dining was a pleasure with an interesting menu and the food was fantastic. At breakfast the menu was also very nice and varied and the full breakfast excellent. Good location for visiting Chatsworth, Bakewell etc would definitely recommend a stay.

Can't fault this place!

Devonshire suite was amazing. The entrance into the room felt so welcoming with the radio playing and the welcome note with chocolates left on the table was a nice touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, we both slept very well. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was pretty good there too.

Loved the homely cottage feel, decor was amazing. Comfortable bed. Small touches - water by bed, robes, nespresso coffee machine, fan in room. Breakfast was excellent and so was dinner - eaten at lots of places and that was up there. Would definitely recommend and return ourselves. A gym would be nice but just knit picking

So Cute

Lovely hotel and restaurant. Room was beautiful with nice amenities. The breakfast was good with a good selection. Bed was comfortable. Loved the clawfoot tub. Breakfast had a good selection. Loved the fact it had off street parking. Overall a great stay
