Friendly staff, clean snd spacious room with everything needed. Comfy bed, spare heaters, powerful shower and bath. Only downside was noise from outside, room was just off the beer garden and next to road, thin wooden door and windows meant it was noisy in room.

Lovely room, had everything you needed and was put together really well. Really convenient location and even though it was near the main road it was actually really quiet during sleeping hours. I’d stay there again if back in Bakewell.

The lady on check in was really nice and helpful , we didnt use the bar . Ample parking for overnight stays and the room was brilliant too. My only concern which didn't really bother us was the bath was slippy when showering. We'd definitely stay again 10 out of 10 from us .

Very kind staff for both the stay and dinner, accommodating for requests. The room had a cozy classic vibe and remodeled recently. The inn is right in the center of the town and very walkable with lots of little places around for food and shopping. The food at the attached restaurant was fantastic all around!

The room was very hot and the beds weren't very comfortable. The room was spacious though. We also, luckily, had a room with a door outside to prop open to try to get some more cool air in the room as the window was doing nothing. Overall it was a good stay.

The room was ok but really stuffy and warm. There was still trash in the bin from previous guests when we arrived but we were charged £10 for checking out 10 mins passed 11am because the “staff was waiting for us to leave the room to clean”. No courtesy for a 10 minute delay while the room was not in perfect condition. Find another property to stay in the area!

We booked two nights and only stayed one and that was because we were tired and there was nowhere else. The room is 15 feet away from the road on the same level as the road. The floor is stone with no carpet. The bed is small with no room around it. The only good thing I could say about this property is it was clean otherwise I would never ever suggest to anybody that they stay in that particular room.

Nice spacious bathroom, clean & tidy. Fans provided which was a bonus for hot weather. The room opens directly to outdoor dining area but wasn’t noticeably noisy. The room also had easy access to the parking area which was convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location is in the middle of town so great for walking around the village. The downsides were that in all of our UK travels (approximately 14 different hotel/b&bs) not one other has required a scan of our passports. We personally find this a bit intrusive and won’t be choosing Green King Inns again. Our second concern was the mattress had a big dip which was very uncomfortable on one side of the bed. We mentioned this on checkout so hopefully will be replaced soon!
