Great spot. A bit of a walk to town, but with all the good food around nothing wrong with burning the calories. Owner was very nice, picked me up at train station and prepared a lovely breakfast every morning. For sure a great spot to stay!

Fledermaus wine

Nice little hotel. A quiet location, ideal for a walking break and pet friendly. Our dog loved it. Only issue was the church bells which rang each quarter hour. The Fledermaus wine was also very appreciated.

Et virkelig hyggeligt sted! GÄturen fra gÊstehuset ind til Bacharach er cirka 1,8 km, men det er en fin lille tur, som slet ikke fÞles lang efter et glas vin! Man kan gÄ via asfaltvejen fra Steeg til Bacharach, men man kan ogsÄ vÊlge at dreje af og spadsere pÄ en grusvej mellem vinmarkerne (se billedet) op til et smukt udsigtspunkt over Bacharach - herfra kan man gÄ ned til byen via trapper og en lille sti. Morgenmaden pÄ gÊstehuset er rigtig fin og med mere spÊndende ost og pÄlÊg end de fleste andre steder. Fledermaus kan varmt anbefales!
