The space
This studio features a full kitchen with a fridge, dishwasher, deep basin sink, and electric range. There’s a high-top table for two people to eat dinner, a queen bed, a couch and two chair chairs. The home sits on 80 acres of land, touching the Superior National Forest, with plenty of space for parking trucks and trailers on the long driveway into the property for all your boats and trailers.
Guest access
This is one of three studios at Whitetail Estates. The owners built the walkout basement specifically for hosting guests. The owners of the home live full-time in Seattle and spend about 1/3 of their time at this Minnesota home. Every studio has private entrance and does not share any space with other guests or the homeowner. The homeowners love to host if you do catch them on their travels. But please always respect quiet hours if other guests are staying at the property.
Other things to note
This is one of three private studios in the walkout basement of the same home. You will not have to share any common spaces with other guests, but other guests may be staying in a unit sharing a wall with your unit. The entire home also has air-conditioning, and being half underground (walk-out basement) stays cool all summer. While each unit has its own thermostat to control radiant floor heat, individual units cannot control the air-conditioning thermostat. To ensure you don't have an unpleasant stay, we therefore don't list the property as having AC (even though it does). You can stay in one of three cozy units in the walkout basement of our vacation home, or rent all three for larger family gatherings. Interior doors between units are typically locked but can be opened for larger families renting multiple units.
