Good foundation but a lot left to be desired

Having grown up in Ayrshire I am familiar with the location and in relation to the beach transport links and town centre, the property was brilliant value for money. However, the property itself was in a poorer than expected quality for the price of it. Prior to our arrival I was contacted to ask how I would like the flat made up, with there being 6 adults staying for the weekend I asked that the sofa bed would be made up and that the beds would be split into singles to accommodate this. However, when we arrived this had not been done. Additionally the fridge freezer for the apartment was turned off when we arrived with a bunch of towels on the ground appearing to be soaking water as the unit defrosted. Beyond this the unit did not work all weekend which did not allow us to buy supplies in and rely on eating out. Moreover the condition of the walls, bathroom sealant and grouting could benefit from a renovation to modernise the property and spruce it up.

Great communication from Donnini, great location, and the apartment had everything we needed. Sadly, having once been a luxury apartment, the property has suffered from a poor standard of cleaning and maintenance.
