Although the hotel is very nicely decorated and well set out, we had to complain to the reception (and I will be writing to the hotel group) that we had three issues to raise. The door of the bathroom (which didn't actually have a bath) wouldn't close, the double-doors out to the patio did not close properly which left a draft, and the hotel does not have a car-park to park your car!!

This hotel is a beautiful gem in the heart of Ayrshire. Minutes from the birthplace of Robert Burns, the associated museum and Brig’Doon that influenced his most famous work. The hotel itself is quite stunning and the quality of the food was very high.

We had a fantastic stay at Brig ODoon hotel, food was delicious & affordable. Staff we’re very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. My husband had a fantastic time in the spa bath 🛀 . The scenery was gorgeous, the nicest hotel we have ever been too.
