Perfectly situated just 20 minutes from Orford hiking trails, 5 minutes from picturesque Massawippi Lake, and a short drive from the vibrant town of Magog, the Wood Loft offers a unique and charming getaway. With easy access to nearby attractions and only 1.5 hours from Montreal, it’s the ideal destination for remote workers seeking a change of scenery or anyone craving a peaceful retreat.

The Wood Loft is part of our charming Ayer’s Barn, boasting a unique design and filled with natural light. Despite its compact size (450 square feet), it’s fully equipped for a comfortable stay and exudes warmth and charm.

Located in the heart of Ayer’s Cliff Village, the Wood Loft is within walking distance of local amenities, including a grocery store, farmer’s market (in the summer), butcher shop, SAQ, and cozy cafes and restaurants. While you may occasionally hear passing traffic during the day, evenings are typically serene, allowing for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Explore the beauty of the region year-round with nearby attractions such as Massawippi Lake, Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook, Foresta Lumina, and Mont Orford National Park. For relaxation, unwind by the shores of Ayer’s Cliff Lake or treat yourself to a day at Spa Nordic Station.

Great stay in Ayer's Cliff
Very adorable and clean place located right in town. On the main road, but set back so the traffic wasn't too loud. Conveniently located near the center of town, well-stocked store within walking distance. The place had everything we needed and the bed was comfy. There was an issue with the Wi-Fi, which turned out to be a widespread issue that the owners were very responsive and communicative about. We enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back!

Cozy loft in Ayer's Cliff
Lovely, quiet, private and well appointed! Everything needed for a weekend escape from the city. The fire pit was the reason we chose it, but it provided both indoor and outdoor enjoyment! Plenty of books, TV with all the streaming, places to eat and enjoy a game of cards, cozy bed loft, well thought out kitchen equipment and tools... and attentive and helpful hosts. Perfect place to rest and recharge!

Lovely stay!
Had a lovely stay! Home was adorable, clean, and cozy. Host was very responsive and helpful! Slept great in the loft - you do need to use a ladder but it’s sturdy and we could sit up in the loft area comfortably. Would certainly recommend!

Great little tiny home
I stayed 8 nights and it was well situated close to so many attractions, groceries, restaurants, cafe and 20 minutes from other cute villages. The home was cozy and had everything I needed and more. Guillaume was responsive and thoughtful. I wish that the beach were truly accessible by foot but I think for safety reasons it would not have been a good idea to walk it… a truly perfect stay !

Lovely place with impractical bed
It was a pleasure communicating with Guillaume. The space is as cute as the photos. It is very comfortable for 2 people. However the bed in the loft is an issue. There are no railings and it is impossible for the person on the far side of the ladder to get out without climbing over the other person.

We had a great time in this little cabin. Was very cozy with the fireplace and loft. Had everything you need. Ayer'sCliff is also a very cute city. Would definitely recommend trying it out!
