The Avoca Motel is perfectly situated. On the highway, but set well back so noise is not a problem. It is just a short walk to the town facilities. Parking is convenient and there is lots of open space.

Room was spacious, clean & comfortable. We loved sitting up at the bench on stools. Couch a little too low for our old knees. Bed was extremely comfortable. We had a lovely, quiet sleep. We woke to the chatter of the native parrots. Staff friendly & easy going Would happily return.

The picture is where the caretaker lives. A row of Motel rooms is adjacent. Big room, big bathroom with small shower ironically, nice vibes, and a handful of Moccona coffee sashays.

Security door could not be locked. Spider webs with dead spiders in bathroom. Room was clean but carpet was badly stained and decor very dated. Reception was locked when I arrived at 2pm but was promptly unlocked when I rang the number on the door and left a voicemail message. Bed was very comfortable but there was a bit of an odour- it may have been the mattress but I didn’t look.

We were in the very last room from the road so no road noise, walking distance to the painted art silo and the silo is well worth the visit after dark as the paint glows, great hotel for dinner within walking distance, great price for twin room, beds comfortable, room nice and clean

We were very happy with our 2 night stay. Our room was very clean, roomy and the bed was so comfortable. The 'Wreck Shed' was a great recreation space for our small group to enjoy of an evening. The owner Candice was very friendly and we will definitely stay here again.
