A Month to Remember
The apartment was great, and so was the neighborhood! We wanted a place outside the tourist zone to spend a month in Avignon and get out of the Chicago deep freeze. We got just what we wanted! Plenty of good places to eat, but also the wonderful market where we could buy fresh fish, meat, produce, baked goods. The kitchen was perfect for cooking all of those great fresh market products! Philippe was a great host and saw to our every need.

Avignon in Sept/Oct
The apartment was as pictured in the app; very well maintained and clean. The newly renovated bathroom was lovely. It was close to many good restaurants and about a 20 minute walk to the train station. There are many historical sites to visit in the town itself and in the surrounding towns. All the sites are within an easy walking distance of the apartment. If you are into history and architecture, good food and great weather, this is the place for you. Our host Philippe was amazing and very helpful. He picked us up at the train station in Avignon on our arrival and drove us out to the TGV train station when we left. He was attentive to our needs and checked in with us via texts to see how we were doing or if we had any questions. He even took us to the phone store to help me get a SIM card for France. He provided a helpful map of the town annotated with suggestions for walks, restaurants and cafes. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would return there if we decide to visit the south of France again.

Lovely apartment in great location
We loved our stay in this really lovely apartment. Everything we needed and in a great location within a few minutes walk of all places of interest and shops. Philippe is so helpful and has not skimped on quality in this property.

Close to free parking and bus stop, Roomy and quiet too
Located within the walls just a 12 minute walk from free parking as Des Italiens. This apartment is on a quiet street minutes from local cafes and the city wide bus stop. It is a bit far from the TI office so if you are meeting up with tours you will need to factor in about a 3/4 mile walk to get there. Easy and pleasant to walk to most Avignon sites. The apartment is roomy, safe and well appointed with air conditioning, a washer and fast internet. Would definitely stay here again, especially as the owner is very easy to work with

Very good location in Avignon
The apartment is as pictured. We enjoyed the apartment and its location during our week in Avignon. The bakery is a block away, a supermarket is 2 blocks and the Les Halls indoor market is a couple of blocks and worth the stop. The apartment is close to everything. Philippe was very kind. We would stay there again when in Avignon.

Great apartment in the heart of the city. Close to everything! Philippe was awesome!
The apartment is well furnished and the bed is very comfortable. We stayed for two weeks and were able to take several day trips as Avignon is very central to exploring Provence. Our landlord Philippe picked us up from the train station to take us to the apartment which was much appreciated as it was raining. He also offered to take us to our cruise ship upon our departure, but we had other arrangements. Philippe provided suggestions for great restaurants in the area. We are foodies and we loved all of his recommendations. He also helped us find English speaking stations on the TV. We like to submerse ourselves in the culture of our surroundings, so we enjoyed the cafe, restaurants, and people right around the corner. The only thing missing was a view, but that didn’t really matter as we were out and about every day! We loved Avignon and hope to return someday! We highly recommend this apartment!
