Staff were great, a very accommodating. Rooms were small, and room entry was through the sliding glass door, but could be locked with the room key when leaving for the day. Not bad, just different. Proximity to Casino Point was excellent for scuba divers.

Amazing central location, staff was super polite and helpful, the bikes for riding around were great, and the room was nice and cozy. Exactly what to expect on an island vacation, I see other reviews that are a little more particular, and just laugh because they don’t seem like people that are comfortable living the chill Island life and expect everything to be five stars all day. If you understand the island dynamics, what life is like for the amazing locals, and how Catalina has changed so much over the last 25 years, you would be grateful that the opportunity to go visit the silence even exists. We will be back again and again and again to support the local economy and enjoy the jewel that Catalina and Avalon are. Very blessed. Great anniversary celebration.

Staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and it was very easy to locate and the complimentary usage of the bikes was a cherry on top. Definitely would be staying here again.

The room was decent although we seen fingerprints on the shower glass and strands of light brown hair on the bathroom wall but we didn't make a big deal out of it. The bed was comfty and when we needed something staff was quick to help us out! Everybody who worked there were super nice!

really liked my stay here! only thing that threw me off a little was the fact that my door was a glass sliding door but other than that i really enjoyed my stay here. the staff are friendly and the lucky fox (restaurant attached to hotel) was very delicious and priced well. i also love that the hotel provides bikes for you to ride around the island on but i will admit ITS VERY HARD!! catalina island is full of steep hills and it was very difficult for me to bike around. i recommend getting e bike if you’re wanting to explore more but if you are just wanting to bike around the main strip you’ll be fine.

Our friends and us had a lovely time on Catalina Island. Bellanca was at the end of the main street vs the other hotels within the main street above restaurants and shopping areas, this made the hotel quiet and away from hustle and bustle. Everything is within a short few minutes' walk. The main street is along the bay front; The view was spectacular. Our hotel was charming and had a Mediterranean feel. The rooms were clean and fresh, nice amenities, Keurig coffee maker (so nice), the bed was comfortable. Overall, the Bellanca hotel stay was perfect. They had bikes you could use, beach chairs as well. The staff were very friendly. We highly rec. Bellanca Hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Bellanca Hotel. The room was kept very clean and the housekeeping staff were great to come at a time requested. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. We have stayed at this hotel several times going way back to when it was Portifino Hotel. The rooftop patio has been updated and nicely appointed with outdoor furniture. It has to be one of the best ocean front views of any of the hotels. Our Cabana room was a nice surprise being larger, having a small patio and some other extras like a closet and robes. We will definitely go back to Bellanca.

Great location!! we were on first floor due to no elevator. but the staff was amazing very caring. We were there for a wedding and I needs a few safety pins and they found them for me. we will be back!!

Very clean room and good amenities. They let you borrow their bikes, beach chairs and more. They have a nice bar with great food and drinks. I didn't give them 5 stars because the rooms aren't properly insulated, they are loud. You can hear the sliding doors from other rooms, people walking around on the top rooms, when their shower is running and the carts from the housekeeping staff.
