Great spot for quick getaway

Wanted a spot for July 4th fireworks watching. Great spot for coupes, useful gym with cycling rooms. Nice rooftop pool, but busy. Unit itself very nice. Parking (valet only) was quick but pricy.

If could give 4.5 stars, I would probably do that. There were a few minor things I didn't like about this property, but nothing that would justify knocking it down to a 4. So I'm giving it a 5. Let's get the negatives out of the way first: 1) A 33-story highrise needs more than three elevators. I get that they're expensive, particularly because they eat into square footage that could be used for residences. But it did seem that the elevator wait times were pretty long at times. Also, since you have to scan your keycard before you press the button for your floor, it can be a hassle when there are several people going up from the lobby at the same time - the logistics of maneuvering around people to swipe your card, or handing your card to the person next to the control panel, in a short period of time can be challenging. One time I got in the elevator at the same time as several other people, and because of the mad dash to swipe and press buttons, two people couldn't get their floors activated in time and had to ride all the way to the top! Seems that the system could at least be reprogrammed to allow any floor to be activated by any keycard, which could alleviate this problem somewhat. 2) No dresser - the bedrooms in this complex are pretty small, with no room for a dresser. This wasn't a big issue for me, as I only stayed two nights. But I could see it being a bigger problem for longer stays. Now for what I liked: 1) This property is immaculate, including the unit itself

Convenient stay - short walk to Rainey!

Loved our stay! We came to town to celebrate my birthday weekend and had a great time. Loved the scenic views and wished to have enjoyed the pool a bit more. The only downside was the cockroaches on the rooftop pool. It happened on night one of our stay so that was a bummer.

Unit was as described, great location! It was cute & view was awesome. If brining a vehicle, valet parking attendees were awesome but $40/day plus tip seems steep & there was never any available street parking in evening. Just something to consider when budgeting cost of trip. Close drive to all the BBQ places my husband had planned.

Majors Issues that have hopefully been rectified

Vacasa responded professionally but after the stay ended with major inconveniences. No working kitchen (microwave OR refrigerator and freezer). Lost all food for New Years Day, not even an ice machine in the building. This said the BUILDING is fantastic, great view for fireworks, great location. If the unit owners return this rental to functional it would be a great rental.

Problems with the kitchen

When we arrived, we found that the freezer wasn't working. We came to find out that even though the freezer and alarm was off, the alarm would go off several times a day (and night). Reported it to the Vacasa agent on duty, who in turned gave us the number for support services. The gentleman was very nice and took all information. Returned our call several hours later and informed us that this was not the first time this had been reported and the only recourse we would have would be to try to turn off the alarm. Which, we informed him that it was already off. The next day, we checked in again with the Vacasa rep and was informed that this is an ongoing issue and that the Condo owner had not resolved the issue. Our only recourse was to turn the refrigerator completely off less we get woken up by the alarm several times during the night. This defeated the purpose in getting a condo (eating small meals for ourselves) and resulted in us eating out every meal during the entire stay (6 days). Suggest, the condo be taken offline until the problem can be resolved. I want to impress that the Vacasa reps were most helpful and know that this was out of their control.

The condo was perfect! 32nd fooor, right before the rooftop pool, and the views were unreal. If you’ve never been to Austin before, I highly recommend this stay! You can see lady bird lake and incredible views from the city right outside on the balcony AND just sitting in the living room. Host had all the basic necessities (dishes, towels, detergent, blankets, etc.) Check in was simply, valet took a few minutes each time but they did a great job during busier times ($40/night fee paid on arrival) The pool had very comfortable furniture to lounge in and the views day and night were incredible. The ONLY drawback was the WiFi. Took a good 5-10 minutes to connect each time we started the tv up. 10/10 stay - we’ll be back!
