From the moment I exited my car I felt unsafe! There was no security monitoring the parking lot area, and it was dark. I was accosted in the parking lot by a homeless person asking for money; he walked up to me while I exited my car - I had no idea he was there until he was there - I was completely blindsided! When I got to my room I just felt uneasy, not only due to my prior experience, but there was a door in the room that may have been a conjoined room door, but there was no lock to indicate it was locked. Very unsettling! I entered the bathroom in my room, and there was what appeared to be a bunch of spit in the toilet - disgusting! That was the last straw! Needless to say I did not stay - I packed myself up and left to check in to another hotel. My experience was horrible!

The price is the nicest thing about this property. The rooms were big, which was nice, and the bed was comfy enough. They had a phone in the room, but it was not hooked up. When we asked about it, the staff knew the phones did not work. Across the street was a park, and a the sun went down, the opioid zombies came fishing out to the park. I never felt safe the entire time I was there.

Rude staff and unprofessional

Don’t get me wrong, for the price range it was okay but it doesn’t make up for the complete lack of professionalism from the staff. We had an issue with our TV so we went downstairs to explain the situation and while a young man was explaining how to resolve the situation this older employee just shoved past us and went to our room without asking and just sort of barged in. There were soda cans left in the halls for days, ominous brown stains all over the carpet and any time we asked the staff a question they acted as if it was a trouble to do their jobs and even answer simple questions. Each encounter with the staff proved rude and not worth any time. I would not recommend staying here for a multitude of reasons, the staff being the main issue. A few days into our stay while we were out we noticed sinks covered due to a boil advisory in Atlanta which the hotel did not inform us on or post anywhere to warn anyone. While yes the beds were soft and the area was nice, the bathroom faucet had rust dripping down, zero water pressure, odd stains out an about, and an issue with their tvs that they would refuse to fix properly besides hitting a remote a few times.

Unfriendly place to stay

I think the hotel is very poorly run. People in the reception are not friendly or helpful. Yesterday I was not sure if I had left something in the hotel ( a very important folder) I called more than 50 times and they never answer the phone. Finally I took a taxi and I asked the receptionist why she did not answer the phone and she did not even answer me… They never clean the rooms, you have to request it,. The bed is comfortable and the room is big… but the shower does not have good water pressure.

The photos/pics in the hotels.com app DO NOT represent this hotel. Wow. Disgusting place. Rust around all the light fixtures, water damage arouns sink, couch qas disgusting. we never even pulled back the sheets. asked for refund, and lady at the desk said she would take care of it. One week later and refund still hasnt posted.

Nika was very helpful at the front desk and Melisa was just as helpful with breakfast. On the other hand, we had to wait forever for hot water in the room and then the water pressure was almost none existent and then the water completely went off while trying to shower.

The downtown location was convenient. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the Mercedes Benz Stadium. Smelled like weed in the hallway and the hotel is not located in a nice area. Room was not thoroughly cleaned. Our fridge still had food in it from the last person. The breakfast was nice and hot.

Lessons learned...

As far as convenience to goes, this place was AMAZING!!! 5/5 Everything else... 2 at best. Weed and or cigarette smell throughout the building and outside. TV didn't work. The sink was so tiny, water was getting everywhere, just trying to wash my face. Nowhere to sit in the room. I was afraid to allow my skin to touch the bed so I slept fully clothed and a hoodie. Lessons learned. Lessons learned... Also, i tried to add pics but this site/app would not allow me to sooooo...
