Location is great, walking distance to restaurants, aquarium and Coca Cola World. Hotel is very nice and staff helpful. Housekeeping services horrible. Didn’t care to check if shampoos/ shower gels were replenished. We were out of both. Had to go to front desk several times. Started with a less than half toilet paper roll in our room and did not care to provide with extra ones or replenish. Tissue box had 3 tissues inside. We stayed for 4 days and everyday was an issue.

We stayed at Aloft Downtown after a great experience at Aloft Sugarloaf, and unfortunately this stay was very disappointing. While the front desk staff was friendly, that was the only positive part of our visit. The walls are paper thin. The first night we could not sleep until around 2 a.m. due to noise from our neighbors. The second night, I was so nervous about what my kids might hear from neighboring rooms that we had to sleep with the TV on for noise coverage. This is absolutely not a family-friendly hotel. We also had issues with housekeeping. The towels in the room were dirty, and when housekeeping came by the second day, we declined full cleaning but asked for fresh towels. We were told we could only receive three towels, even though the room was booked for four people with two queen beds. On top of that, the room was extremely hot at night despite having the air conditioning set to 68 degrees, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. Overall, this was a very unpleasant stay, and we will never stay at this location again.

Great location within walking distance to Olympic Centennial Park and all the attractions nearby. Room was spacious, clean, nice bed and nicely equipped. We had a minor billing error, but this was resolved promptly and professionally by the desk staff. This hotel has a large self-park lot behind the hotel, which is convenient, cheaper (and not valet) which appears to be unusual for this area of downtown. The parking setup is appreciated. Staff was very good.

Disappointing Stay Despite Friendly Staff!!! While the customer service at Aloft was great and the front desk staff were polite and helpful, the room itself was extremely disappointing. The counter was broken, the cable did not work, and the bed was uncomfortably low. The room was also very cold, even with the heat turned all the way up. To make matters worse, I was overcharged for the stay. Overall, the experience was not worth the amount I paid. I expected much better quality for the price.
