Everything was wonderful. Col. Mark was such an interesting and awesome host. My wife and I could listen to his stories all day long. Also, the breakfast was always great. The French Toast was the best I have ever eaten. Can’t even describe how insanely wonderful it was. We will be back.

Colonels Mark and Beth are spectacular! Col. Mark went out of his way to make out stay enjoyable. The home itself is magnificent, adorned with beautiful antiques, tapestries and rugs. The breakfasts cooked by Colonel Beth were wonderful. I very highly recommend this bed and breakfast! (By the way both Mark and Beth are actual colonels from their military service!) However, I would not recommend our room, the "Jacuzzi room"; because the jacuzzi/ bathroom is not in the room. You need to walk out of the room into the short hallway and then enter the "bathroom." This was somewhat awkward as was the fact that the bathroom to the room next to ours was connected to our room by a permanently locked adjoining door. All noises taking place there were easily heard and the light from that bathroom filtered into our room around the edges of the door (so we had noises and light all night). But let me restate: I highly recommend the Colonels because of the graciousness of the hosts and the lovely location! By the way, be sure to take a walk around the extensive property--there's a stable with horses and more . . .

It’s a lovely property and Colonel Mark is a wonderful host. We had a very busy itinerary so we weren’t able to enjoy the property as much as I would like, but we will be back.
