We are about 1000 feet from a 24 hour gas station, an award winning supper club and fully stocked convenience store. Athelstane Cottage has all modern day amenities for your stay with a true Northwoods atmosphere. Let us be your host for your next Wisconsin Northwoods vacation!

Athelstane Cottage is great for the outdoors-loving group! We are close to many places where you can enjoy activities such as boating, fishing, rafting, hiking, and more. We even have on-site access to miles of hiking trails and you can drive your ATV or snowmobile straight onto the trail from the cottage. Near Athelstane, there is an abundance of waterfalls, including Long Slide Falls, Dave's Falls, and Bull Falls. All of these waterfalls are surrounded by beautiful hiking trails. Some of the nearby parks include Peshtigo River State Forest, Governor Thompson State Park, and Twelve Foot Falls Park.
