Beautiful property right in the center of town and on the lake. Beat spot in Mount Dora. Rooms are on the dated side, but you are staying in a historic hotel. Quiet at night, great sunsets

Staff was great - professional and helpful when we had questions. The room and bath were small but clean, comfortable and charming. Rainy weather prevented us from enjoying the lovely grounds. Would love to return sometime and fully enjoy the pool and the beautiful lake views.

it is an old, historic hotel, ful of charm but the rooms are small and I do wish they would get new carpeting because it looks dirty. But the sheets and bathrooms are extremely clean. I enjoy being there.

The room was very nice, nicely furnished. The bathroom was very spacious. I’m not a fan of glass enclosed showers, but it looked great. The staff was very attentive. The carpeting on the stairs and down the hallway is in need of replacement, and lumpy in spots. The staff was very attentive. I enjoyed my stay.

Good location, pretty from the outside. Rooms are uncomfortable. First, plan on carrying your luggage upstairs, no elevators. No place in the bathroom to put anything, not great for getting ready. One suitcase holder, no tables or chair for additional. Smallest tv I’ve ever seen. Checked out a day early.

If you want to visit the cutest town with friendly people at the hotel and the shops, this is the place to stay. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants, bars, boutique shops, antique shops and entertainment. We never had to use our car and there’s a free ride app to take you around the town too. The hotel has 3 restaurants and gorgeous scenery surrounding it. We loved it!

Hotel is awful. Terrible condition. Worn out. Badly in need of total makeover. Rooms are disgraceful. $350/night & room was crap: filthy carpet, worn out furnishings, no hot water, 1950s style bathroom. What a rip off. I wouldn’t let my dog stay there. Food & bar was way below par. Room wasn’t ready & we arrived 1hour ahead of checkin & still couldn’t have our room ready by check-in time. Hotel should have paid us to stay there. Liquidate it & sell to a real hotel management business. If asked, I’ll share our terrible experience.
