All staff were very friendly and helpful. Very familiar with this area and there are several restaurants within a couple minute walk. Wished the Lift Bar would've had more food options. Beautifully decorated building, clean rooms, great view.

The hotel was up to date and clean, the staff was courteous and friendly. The lobby was beautifully decorated for Fall. It was fun to see the Halloween decorations, pirate-themed, in the Lift Bar when we went for breakfast. The breakfast was ok, the usual eggs, potatoes, pancakes, french toast sticks, bagels etc. But other than that, I rate this hotel a 5 across the board.

Rooms were clean and nice , bar was expensive $13 for a beam and coke for a short glass un heard of . Cross street $4 for a tall one and highly recomend it , all was good except for idiot that decided to smoke in their room and set off fire alarm so we had to evacuate the building. Staff was awsome !

The hotel was clean and well maintained. I believe it is a fairly new construction. My only comment is that room seemed a bit small. It’s not really a complaint since I was alone and just watched TV a bit, slept, and showered. It was a nice room. The exercise facility was clean and had the necessary equipment. It was a good overnight stay.

Great hotel!

Absolutely fantastic hotel! Staff is great, rooms are great. Conveniently located. If in Ashtabula definitely stay at the Riverbend hotel. Great hot breakfast included. Eat at Bridge city tavern. Walking distance. Great frood and brew.

It's a nice hotel in the downtown, with views from the top floor. The top floor bar was not available to sample due to a private event the night we stayed. There are a few bars/restaurants close in the small downtown area. Unfortunately there was something mechanical making noise outside out room all night after midnight of our stay. It could have been an air conditioner or other device but it make a repetitive clicking all night long. When told the front desk they needed to have maintenance check it out, the response was "did I think it was the rain". It did not rain that night. They also let their employees sit literally right outside the entrance and smoke up the place. It was quite a plume 3 of them sitting there. Over all, it was ok, but not sure it was worth $250 for a simple room.
