Very wornout

Only booked for somewhere to sleep but even at that it was not great. Literally only spent about 8 hours total here and the cost was super high but that's expected for the area. Door to room was open (not shut/locked) upon arrival. Worn, unclean carpets. Hair on the sheets. Had a musty smell. If it wasn't already 9pm when we checked in and we already paid nearly $300 for the room we would've gone elsewhere.

Short drive to Bayfield

We stayed just one night to visit Bayfield. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a very easy drive to get to Bayfield.

Parking was close to outside door to our room so that was convenient. Hot tub must not be used often because it kept turning off so we didn't stay in long. Had some interactions with other guests that didn't make us feel safe staying at that hotel although the staff themselves were very friendly. Had that interaction with guest turned worse, I doubt anyone would have been able to assist.

nice visit to Ashland

Staff was great. We had a little trouble with the TV for the remote and let the desk clerk know. He was there in minutes and got in going again and gave us some search tips for using the channel guide. Deep Water Grille was a nice walk, (7 blocks one way) and good food. Enjoyed our stay.

Dissatisfied visit

Bathroom was not very clean. Shower nozzle was broken - you could pull it to let the water flow, but it spun around freely, so you could not adjust the temperature. We got cold showers the first day, luke warm showers the second day, and almost scalding hot showers the final day. We reported this to the front desk, and they said they would report it to maintenance, but nothing was repaired while we were there. Room temperature was not satisfactory - it was too warm all weekend. We set the thermostat to 60 degrees - it felt like mid-high 70's all weekend. Also reported this to the front desk - nothing changed. Television offered a variety of channels - however, when we tried various channels, movie channels, etc., it would ask for a PIN. Very frustrating. Breakfast the first day - no sausage, no sausage gravy at 9:15 a.m. Still 15 minutes to go, and no refills. The gravy looked like it had been empty for much longer than 15 minutes.

We were two friends coming to Ashland for a funeral. The booking screen said, "Studio suite,1 King bed, Sofa bed, top floor". (I took a screen shot.) I sent, in the request, "One description said there a was a sleeper sofa in the suite, but in the property details, it does not list the sofa. We need two sleeping areas. Please put us in a room away from traffic noise. Thank you!) When arrived on 8/22, the gentleman gave us a ground floor unit. I said, no, we had a top floor suite. He accommodated us and put us in a top floor corner suite. I was disappointed to see a vinyl "futon" as my sleeper sofa. I had to go back down to request linens and blanket as there were none. It was a rotten sleep as there was a bar down the middle of the fold down bed where the two sections met. Too slender to sleep on one side or the other. VERY uncomfortable sleep! When I mentioned this at checkout, I was told the sleeper sofas "were on order". I said it should not have been advertised as such and we should have been charged as a single "king bed" room. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean but a little musty. The toilet in the bathroom was very low and also wobbly. It was not attached to the floor well. As an older adult this was just not okay.
