Vintage Africa - accommodation in Arusha

Easy, free transfer to/from airport: drivers efficient and extremely friendly and accommodating. Grounds are beautiful and room was quiet and very clean and spacious. We only had one night (partial) as we had a very early flight out. I wish we had booked this hotel for our stay prior our Kilimanjaro trek. It would have been much more comfortable than the more expensive resort hotel we booked in Arusha. If we come back, this is definitely where we will be staying.

Our visit to the Sanna did not start well, there was a snafu with our reservation, resulting in us being moved to their eco lodge on arrival. The staff was very gracious in trying to make up for this, and the owner personally came to right this. The hotel is beautiful, i fully recommend upgrading the suite. There is a rooftop restaurant and bar that has beautiful views. The bell tower and market is within walking distance, however vendors make walking the streets annoying. They have a transfer service from the airport that is worth reserving. The hotel has spa services that are relaxing for weary travelers.
