Great location in the Southern Alps, always had friendly staff, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Warm rooms no matter what the weather is doing outside.

We spent a great 24hrs in Arthur's Pass while doing the TranzAlpine train journey, staying here for the night. Comfy stay & Pete was so informative and helpful. Even going out of his way to drop us in the village and return later in the day with our luggage, as we were without a vehicle. Highly recommend!

The train journey is amazing and it is lovely you were able to enjoy Arthur's Pass and stay a night in the mountains. We are fortunate to have the walks and village in easy walking distance. And now the new Visitor's Centre is open there is a convenient place to store your bags while you explore the village. The new Visitor's Centre (although temporary) is fantastic and we know it will get well used. Many thanks for staying

For an older style non renovated property it was spotless! Everything was beautifully clean and the beds comfortable. Small but cosy and the management were friendly and helpful. I would recommend it if you were passing through or staying a couple of days.

Thanks for your review. Our knowledge about walks comes from a lifetime of walking these beautiful tracks from the 2 minute walk to Avalanche Creek waterfall to the overnight hikes into the heart of the Southern Alps. Kind regards
