This was a beautiful room in a lovely location. A beautiful balcony right across from the Mediterranean Sea, and a beautiful walkway. HOWEVER there was one giant problem that brought this down to four star, and it might have been even lower if I was in a worse mood. The beautiful autumn sun, low on the horizon pounded into our room, most of the day, and particularly when it came up early in the morning. Because of the date, the hotel had stopped. It’s air conditioning, and the room became unbearably hot. It was by their admission, almost impossible to sleep. I requested that they do something about it twice, and the first person told me just to turn the system off and on, but that was incorrect. The only solution would have been to sleep with the sliding door open, but that would admit the traffic noise, and of course woken us up, unbearably early as soon as the sun came up. So, two bad night sleep. We were there three nights, but miraculously it still worked on the first night. Otherwise, everything OK
