Everything was excellent from beginning to end due to Michael's efforts. The communication was very timely and very clear. We also greatly appreciated the host's offer to let us check in early; that was unexpected and a nice surprise. The house was exceptionally clean and the setting tranquil and relaxing. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful, peaceful property! The house was beautiful and clean. We did have an issue with the ice maker but the host was quick to respond and went above and beyond to help make it right. Seriously, the kindest host we’ve ever dealt with. The property is just beautiful with a little pond in front and plenty of outdoor area for the kids to explore!

Our stay at Serenity Lane was absolutely amazing! Michael was so welcoming and went above and beyond making the entire process as smooth as possible from start to finish. Check in was easy and the house was so clean and spacious. The porch was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee with a view of the pond, all of the beds were extremely comfortable, and the outdoor firepit area was so much fun to gather around at night! The kitchen is well stocked to with everything you'd need for cooking and there's a great gas grill outside as well! An easy 20ish minute drive to Degray Lake and some nice hiking spots nearby as well. Definitely recommend this gorgeous space to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! We hope to be back again!

Everything we were looking for and more

This property had no reviews because it was fairly new, so I was initially hesitant to rent it. I contacted the owner, and he put my mind at ease immediately. We stayed there with 7 adults and an infant for a 4th of July weekend at the lake. The property was just as described and included a beautiful pond that my dad caught several fish in. It was just far enough outside of town to feel secluded, but close enough to restaurants and the lake. The living and dining area were big enough for everyone to play games or watch TV. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was a nice screened in porch and outdoor sitting area and plenty of parking for everyone. The sink clogged on day 2, and the owner had it fixed within an hour without any disruption to us! Michael checked in with me several times before we arrived and made sure we had the lock code in plenty of time. There were no unreasonable cleaning requests, and check in and out were super easy. I’m so glad we stayed, and we will definitely be back!
