Two Things

Number one, read the cancellation and refund policy. The owner who wrote it will not deviate from it. Number two, photos of hotel properties, in my opinion, are generally 50% nicer than in person. This property has a special vibe that the owner is proud of. However not everyone will connect with the unique aura; if this is your experience see item one above. Our three night stay became one, at a net cost of $700; our choice. Just saying, be sure this niche property is your thing.

Great stay!

My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our stay. The owner was friendly, very helpful in getting the tv cable reconnected as soon as we asked about it, generous with complimentary snacks and drinks, very nice breakfast included, and comfortable accommodations in the room. We would definitely return and will recommend the Oak Tree Hotel to our friends.

The owner was very nice and informative about the history of the hotel, restaurants, and places to see around Arcadia. I felt very comfortable staying there as a single woman. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was available each morning and drinks, including wine and beer, were available 24/7. There is a lovely sitting area for guests. Each room has a unique decor, predominantly ornate India-themed. The hotel is in the process of upgrading and expanding services. Until they finish their downstairs rooms, this is a walk-up to second-floor guest rooms. Note that this is a 1902 building and has its fair share of creaks and old-style features. I found this charming and far better than a chain hotel. There was a fair bit of vehicle noise, primarily due to state road repairs during the day and general traffic that was most obvious in the early morn. This would be the only place I would stay when visiting Arcadia, FL.

Very interesting place. Cool experience, my grandson loved it. Great complementary snacks were amazing beer, wine, chips, cookies all complementary. I have never seen as many antiques under one room in my life. I would highly recommend at least one night, place was unforgettable!

The owner was friendly and accommodating. The hotel was infused with the smell of incense and mildew. The decor was eclectic to say the least...antiques mixed with silver painted wood furniture. The breakfast was adequate with several options. They also had complementary snacks, beer, and wine.
