Fabulous time at Les Carroz d'Araches
For a family or group this chalet is a great option. Lot's of room, very good condition, very well managed by the property manager and an awesome location relative to the mountains. The property manager thought through every detail to make our stay very enjoyable including breakfast on our first morning, all supplies required, recommendations for restaurants in the area and fast response to any questions we had. Our family of 8 had a very good experience and would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

The owners were very helpful and very prompt in responding. A fabulous chalet for skiing.
This is a comfortable, spacious and very well equipped house. Even if we were only two, four or even six adults can easily be accommodated. An infrared sauna and a hot tub/jacuzzi in the basement was perfect after a long day out. The location is very good, easy access and with neighboring houses sufficiently far away for not disturbing. The host provided a lot of nice extras for our arrival, including a fondue and wine. Very nice! Hoping to come back.
Eine schöne Aussicht an einer HauptstraĂe und womöglich an einer Baustelle
Am 5.Tag nach unserer Anreise ging es hinter dem Haus mit einer Baustelle los. Die Bauarbeiter zeigten uns eine Tafel mit der Baugenehmigung. Die Vermieterin sagte, sie wisse ĂŒber die Baugenehmigung Bescheid, habe es aber ignoriert und uns nicht darĂŒber informiert, weil sie nicht wisse, wann sie genau anfangen wĂŒrde. SpĂ€ter teilte sie uns mit, es sei keine Baustelle sondern lediglich Bauarbeiten von der Ortsverwaltung zur Verlegung des Starkstroms und dass sie nichts dafĂŒr habe. Unsere Forderung uns entweder eine gleichwertige Ersatzunterkunft oder einen Preisnachlass anzubieten entgegnete sie wiederholt mit der Antwort Arbeiten der Ortsverwaltung seien keine Baustelle und sie habe nichts dafĂŒr. Dabei ging es um eine Baustelle mit zwei Baggern, welche morgens schon ab 7:30 bis nachmittags Erde grabten und LĂ€rm und Staub machten. Zudem entschuldigte sie sich kein einziges mal. Das Haus liegt direkt an einer HauptstraĂe,so dass wenn man auf der Terrasse auf der StraĂenseite sitzt, hat man das GefĂŒhl, dass man auf der StraĂe sitzt. Das Haus ist sowohl von Bau als auch von der Einrichtung her altmodisch. Vor allem die Dusche ist sehr altmodisch. Die Sauberkeit in der KĂŒche lĂ€sst viele WĂŒnsche offen. Vor allem die SchubkĂ€sten sehen so aus, als ob man sie nach der Fertigstellung der KĂŒche nie wieder gereinigt hĂ€tte. Keine glatte sondern eine dielenartige ArbeitsflĂ€che der KĂŒche mit allen möglichen KrĂŒmmelresten in den Ritzen ist unangenehm. Kein MĂŒlleimer in der KĂŒche!!! Die Vermieterin legt einfach eine TĂŒte unter den Waschbecken in den Schrank. Der Fitnessraum im Keller sehr laut; lĂ€uft ununterbrochen irgendeine Anlage. Keine Dusche im Saunabereich. Eine sehr kleine Terrasse mit einem fĂŒr die Terrasse unpassend groĂem Tisch und StĂŒhlen, aber mit einer schönen Aussicht. Ohrenkneifer im Haus! 2 kleine sĂŒĂe Eidechsen auf der Terrasse. Gute, saubere Bette, gut funktionierende Waschmaschine und Trockner und gute Lage fĂŒr verschiedene Ausflugsziele. Vor allem wegen der Haltung der Vermieterin im Fall der Baustelle und wegen der HauptstraĂe wĂŒrde ich die Unterkunft nicht weiterempfehlen, sollten Sie jedoch dafĂŒr entscheiden, achten Sie darauf, dass direkt hinter dem Hause eine Baugenehmigung fĂŒr 2 HĂ€user vorhanden ist und die Baustelle jede Zeit losgehen könnte.
