Villa Blanche is located in Apokoronos county, to the east of the city of Chania. It overlooks the Cretan Sea to the north and gazes at the White Mountains to the east as it stands close to beautiful beaches and traditional villages. The three-storey 200 sq. m can accommodate 10 people in its 5 bedrooms, making it perfect to host up to two families travelling together.

Fantastic holiday with fiends

Great villa that was a good size for 10 people. Pool was fantastic and the children spent hours playing. The added bonus is the cleaning service that came in twice during our 9 night stay. I’m glad we had a car so we could see more of the island although the closest village of Almyrida is only 20 minutes walk away that offers everything you need on holiday.

Great holiday

The villa is exactly as pictured & described in the listing. The booking process was easy & the level of contact with the property managers was great. We were met at the villa by a rep who showed us around & provided a welcome pack - which was a nice touch. They provided telephone, WhatsApp & email contacts for our visit .The villa is in a quiet location (uphill) but only 1km from Almyrida - which had a small supermarket, restaurants, bars, usual holiday shops etc. The beach is small but the sunbeds shaded (which we liked as it was very hot during our stay). There are a lot of restaurants & bars in the surrounding villages, and all that we visited were great - we used Trio Advisor to source these). The villa is well equipped & clean. The pool man came regularly as did the cleaners. The bedrooms are well appointed. The aircon is excellent. The pool is great. It is 1.5m deep throughout (except for the steps). The sunbeds are comfortable. There is only 1 small parasol so the villa would benefit from at least 1 more. The BBQ was useful & there was enough charcoal & firefighters provided for first use. The outdoor dining area is well shaded & the seating comfortable. Useful local information is provided (which was helpful as we needed to use the local medical centre in Vamos - English speakers & quick, efficient service). The views are spectacular with a sea view at the front of the property, and mountains to the rear). We hired cars for our stay. I would happily return

Wonderful stay!

We loved staying in this villa! Would definitely rent it with a bigger group next time. The rooms are beautiful and the backyard is stunning. The two cute kittens living in the garden were definitely my favorite feature after coming back from a long beach day! The only thing I would change is the massive dumpster/garbage bins right next to the villa… they were definitely an eye soar.

Fabulous in every way

From the moment we booked the villa to the moment we left on our last day, we experienced excellent service. We enjoyed all the benefits of being part of a well-run hotel complex, but with the privacy of our own villa. Thanks to Kostas who responded to all of our pre-arrival questions and requests with speed and efficiency. Kostas kindly arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport, this arrived on time and the driver was waiting in Arrivals as promised. We noticed that the Villa website offers a grocery shop, so took advantage of this, due to our 11 pm arrival to the villa. Waiting at the Villa was Olga, who needs a special thank you. All the shopping and snacks were waiting for us, which was a real welcome treat. Olga did a quick but comprehensive introduction to the property. This allowed us to quickly settle and relax. There were a few issues, nothing that spoilt the holiday, but Olga was always on hand to sort whatever out. A testament to excellent customer service. We locked ourselves out a safe, a door came off its rails and the AC broke in one of the bedrooms. These happened on different days, but as soon as it was reported, either Olga or Workman was around the same day to fix it. Nothing was too much trouble. We were happy to see that they took cleaning so seriously and the Villa had a deep clean, new bed linen and towels every 3 days. One of the group was very ill one day and was transported to hospital, Olga and Edit from the office were there to support us. We couldn't have asked for any better service. The Villa was just as you see in the pictures. On many occasions you are fooled by old photos with other locations, but not with Villa Blanche. What you see online, is what you see in reality. The location is perfect if you want quiet. The walk into town is about 20min. Just long enough to work up an appetite and to work off a good meal. There is nothing about the holiday, Villa, or location we would change. It suited everyone in the group - Adults and Children. Would definitely visit again and it Villa Blanche wasn't available, would definitely consider another Villa in their portfolio, knowing that we would be well looked after. Thank you to Kostas, Olga, and Edit for a lovely holiday.

Great Villa - But Limited Outdoor Eating Space

We were a family of 9 Adults staying in this lovely villa. The furnishings, linen and facilities in the villa were all of a good quality, and the place was very clean. All the rooms had integrated air conditioning which was essential as temperatures rose to the low 30cs when we were there. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely housekeeping staff, and the fridge was stocked with water, beer, cold meats and there was fruit, cake and coffee waiting for us, which was a lovely touch. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and fully equipped with storage. We could contact the management team at any time via WhatsApp or by a concierge telephone system which was very useful. We were a short 5 minute drive up the hill from the local town?village and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and range of restaurants and cafes on offer. The beach was small, rather grubby in places, but adequate with cheap sun beds to hire. We did go to the Blue Flag in the neighbouring village, and this was beautifully clean with crystal clear water. We were ideally placed for venturing up in to the hills or further along the coast to visit some of the port towns. Our only criticism was the lack of sociable outside eating space, and lack of food storage and prepping areas in the kitchen. Although there is s dining space raised up at the back of the pool, it is only partly covered, and there was no point in the day when all 9 of us could eat in comfortable shade. In addition, the are is surrounded by plants that make the space very claustrophobic and once everyone is seated it is impossible to leave the table without everyone moving for you. The outside table is large and cumbersome with awkward legs that make seating 9 (let alone 10) very uncomfortable. We are a family who only get together a couple of times a year - we love cooking and eating together - and this did impact on our holiday. We spent a lot of time moving tables and chairs and umbrellas to try to accommodate us all comfortably down by the pool. Likewise, the kitchen table is only really designed for 8 (the villa can accommodate 10) - we hate eating inside on holiday - even for breakfast so this wasn't an issue - but its worth bearing in mind. One issue was the kitchen/living room. Once we had done our big shop, we realised there was nowhere for storing food except the fridge. There was also a lack of comfortable seating for all of us in the living room when we all came in to get away from the sun.

We absolutely loved it from start to finish.

We were greeted on our arrival to the property by olga who immediately put our minds at rest that we were in a little piece of heaven!! The villa surpassed the photos and was set out with everything you could want on a self catering holiday. Every little thing you could think of was there and we were surprised by the level of detail the owner kostas has gone to to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We absolutely loved our stay at alias villas (villa Blanche) and are planning our return trip very soon 😊

hele fijne frisse woning, super aardige en behulpzame mensen. De villa ligt nabij leuke dorpjes en vlak bij leuke stranden. Lekker rustig maar genoeg te doen!

Nice place to stay with friends/family

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt. Wir waren 8 Personen. Die Küche fällt leider etwas klein aus. Zwei Zimmer im Dachgeschoss haben leider kein eigenes Bad im Zimmer - aber ein Stockwerk tiefer teilt man sich ein Bad. Das Haus wurde in der Zwischenzeit 2x geputzt, neue Bad-Handtücher und Betten wurden gemacht. Leider wurden die Pool-Handtücher nicht getauscht in 10 Tagen. Aber wir haben das beim check-out angemerkt und darauf wird jetzt mehr geachtet. Olga war super freundlich und immer erreichbar. Toller Urlaub!

Perfekter Urlaub!

Das Haus ist relativ neu, alles war wie in der Beschreibung, kurz gesagt perfekt! Kommunikation vor und während der Anreise schon bemerkenswert. Kommunikation und Betreuung während des Aufenthalts war super! Garten, Pool und das Haus wurden während des Aufenthalts (Corona-konform) gereinigt. Wir haben uns wie in einem Hotel mit den Freiheiten eines Ferienhauses gefühlt. Fazit: Perfekt, perfekter, besser geht es kaum ;-) P.S.: Vielen Dank an Olga und die jederzeit super Betreuung!

Absolut empfehlenswert

Die Villa Blanche ist für Familien und Gruppen von Freunden absolut zu empfehlen. Die Einrichtung ist hochwertig und modern, das Haus geräumig und sauber und die Betreuung durch das Etouri Team ist angenehm unaufdringlich, aber zu jeder Zeit professionell. Da das Haus etwas außerhalb der nächsten Ortschaft gelegen ist, ist ein Mietwagen für Ausflüge oder für Einkäufe zu empfehlen. Wir haben dort eine großartige Woche verbracht und kommen gerne wieder!

Tolles Haus in schöner Lage

Wir haben das Haus im September 2020 zu fünft als Basis für Motorradtouren auf der Insel genutzt. Bei unserer (verspäteten) Ankunft hat uns Olga in dem wunderschönen Haus mit kleinen Snacks herzlich begrüßt. Wir haben uns von Anfange bis Ende bestens betreut und willkommen gefühlt. Das Haus hat die Erwartungen aus der Anzeige in vollem Umfang erfüllt. Wer ein Faible für gute moderne Architektur hat, wird sich hier wohlfühlen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Erholsamer Urlaub in toller Villa

Wir waren 10 Personen (2 Familien + Großeltern) und verbrachten unseren Sommerurlaub in der Villa Blanche. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen, frisches Obst, Gebäck, Käse, Oliven,... standen für uns bereit. Das Haus war sehr modern eingerichtet und war sehr sauber. Auch die Außenanlage war sehr gepflegt. Die Küche ist etwas klein für 10 Personen, v.a. wenn separat gekocht wird, auch ist wenig Stauraum für Großeinkäufe. Der Pool war vor allem für unsere Kinder der Hit. Die Lage des Hauses liegt ein paar Fahrminuten (Auto erforderlich) vom Strand entfernt. Wir haben den Urlaub in der Villa genossen und können das Haus und die Agentur auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
