Very quiet and cozy. You won't hear or see a car, a real treat...
Exceptional environment. it is possible to hear the sheep for several kilometers. Eagles regularly fly over the area.

You will necessarily come across a herd of sheep on the road approaching the village.
Hundreds of sheep are guided by the shepherd every morning and every end of the day, Your car is surrounded by these animals and their young, a great moment!

Ideally located near Georgioupolis between Chania and Rethymnon, 5/10 mins from white sand beaches, restaurants, supermarkets, shops, pharmacy and doctors. 40 mins from Chania airport. 5 mins from Lake Kournas. 20 minutes from Kalyves and Almyrida.

Crete Vacation

Our stay at Jasmine was amazing. The pictures on the site were exactly what we saw when we arrived. Gaby was awesome by staying in touch, meeting up with and taking us to the villa, showing us around and giving good recommendations on places to see and eat! Pascal had some nice goodies waiting for us! The villa was roomy, clean and beautiful. The outdoor area and pool were the best and we really enjoyed and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this listing for your stay if you are in Crete!!

As wonderful as it looks

What a wonderful place to stay! The villa is well-provisioned, comfortable and the views are out of this world. Most days we went sightseeing in the morning but made a point of getting back to Villa Jasmin by mid-afternoon for some lounging-by-the-pool time. We really appreciated the outdoor space, including the barbeque and covered dining area. During our week-long stay, we walked over to Taverna Maria for dinner three times. The food was delicious and the price very reasonable (for info - they don't take cards). Kavros is really convenient with a well-stocked grocery store and the Melis Patisserie-Cafe which makes the most amazing pastries and coffee. Gaby was really responsive and gave great recommendations for things to do. Many thanks for a fantastic holiday.

Couldn't fault it. It is a stunning property with the best sea view we have ever had. So peaceful.

Communication before stay excellent. Gaby so helpful and lovely. The property stands alone in the mountains with just the sounds of nature for company. If you want to get away from it all but have easy access to the coast this is a perfect villa. Tavernas in the mountain villages so friendly with excellent food and so reasonable. We will return!

What a view! Absolutely breathtaking views over the sea and mountains. Loved the secluded a lot in the hills and the sound of the goat bells. Thought the large and open plan kitchen and living space was a very well designed. Gaby, the property manager, was superb and nothing was too much trouble, from replacing a broken parasol straight away, to booking us a day on a boat amongst other things. Enjoyed a week exploring the region, including lovely remote beaches on south coast and the charming Rethymno. A negative for us was the steep driveway which we had to reverse down because we had a large family car. We really enjoyed our week.

The position of the villa is incredible. The view is breathtaking. The house is luxurious. It’s only 15min to the beach which is lovely and uncrowded. It’s the perfect place on the island to explore from.

The raves on here about the view are 100 percent accurate. Beautiful! If you are looking for peace and quiet with a stunning backdrop, this is the spot. Also, Maria's taverna on the hill was one of our favorite memories after two weeks in Greece. There is a bit of driving involved to see the sights around the island, but I think that would be the same in most places you stayed in Crete as it is a very large island. Personally, I preferred the gorgeous countryside and serenity to the hectic city streets.

Absolutely breathtaking place!

Wonderful place on top of a hill, in a quiet and serene village. Comfortable house with a lovely common room and really nice private rooms. Everything’s very aesthetically pleasing and furnished with good taste. But what’s most important is the marvellous view. We’ve been sat for hours looking at the horizon with glasses of wine in our hands in the company of our friends. A view like this is truly unforgettable. Discreet and nice help of Gabi – the house manager. And on the hill nearby, one kilometre walking distance from the house, a lovely tavern, where a chef named Maria cooks. Everything’s so delicious, because you can feel the love she makes her dishes with. We’ve had a remarkable time, during which we rested well and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Thank you !

Beautiful modern accommodation in mountain location

We loved the accommodation - fantastic main open plan room, lovely kitchen and high spec to all appliances and bathrooms, furniture. Lovely white linen and towels provided. Pool area had fantastic view but pool was very very cold and unfortunately some evenings it was too cold/windy to sit outside, probably due to high location as we found it was considerably warmer down on the coast. That was the only drawback to our stay. Gaby was very helpful although a 'manual' of how to work appliances and local places to have to refer to would be very useful and something we have had in other villas we have stayed in. Couldnt fault the accommodation though and had a lovely time there.

A beautiful and peaceful home

We visited Crete at the end of June and were extremely pleased with the amenities the villa provided for us. We had 6 adults and 2 teenage children in our party. The house is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The view is breathtaking and the surroundings are incredibly wild and authentic to the Cretan landscape. Gaby greeted us very kindly and was very quick to answer any questions we had throughout our stay. I think the word that describes the house the best is peaceful. Outside of the herd of sheep/goats passing by daily and the occasional car coming up the road, you are on your own. At the same time, stores and beaches are only a few minutes away for all shopping and entertainment needs. We discovered the best restaurant ever at the bottom of the hill and about 1 block from the national road. We tried other places but in the end kept coming back there. It just wasn't worth going anywhere else or even cooking at home since it was so reasonably priced. Go up the road from the BP station, and the restaurant is 1/2 mile away at the corner of the next intersection and near the butcher shop. They spoke no English and no French but were incredibly kind and nice to us. The food was just incredible!!! 2 things that could have made our stay even better: - a second set of keys for the front door and gate (we had 2 cars and always had to coordinate who would be home when.....) - Wifi didn't work which we knew about and is apparently a generalized problem on the island (just wasn't always easy with 2 teenage kids) We would definitely recommend the house. If you want peace and quiet in a beautiful setting, this house is for you!!!!

Dear Pascal This is to give you some feedback about our stay: We had a very pleasant time in your house the last two weeks. We enjoyed it very much. Your house is very beautiful, offers modern design in high quality. It was the perfect spot for our two families with all in all 8 people. Of course especially the children enjoyed the pool very much. The weather was just perfect. We can imagine that the slight breeze of wind coming up the hill can help also to "survive" the heat in the high summer season (which we did not have). The house is fully equipped. When we told the agent, that one more knife would be helpful in the kitchen for cutting onions, vegetables, fruits etc. she brought us two the very next day. So the agent did a very good job and supported us when ever necessary. She cleaned the house even more often than we would have expected. We appreciated that very much. So all in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and are thankful to the agent and you for the nice holidays we had. Whenever we come again to Crete we will definitely knock at your door. Best regards

Endroit incroyable

Der Ideale Ort für einen Urlaub mit Freunden

Bei unserer Reise hat wirklich alles gepasst! Bei Fragen hat Pascal über fewo immer sehr schnell geantwortet. Vor Ort haben wir die liebe Gaby kennengelernt, die uns in die Wohnung eingewiesen hat und stets gute Tipps für uns hatte. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war sauber, ruhig und sehr weitläufig (was bei unserer Reise mit 8 Personen sehr praktisch war, da wir uns so auch mal ‚aus dem Weg‘ gehen konnten. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub und können diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. :)
