The hotel was very well located and in a nice building. However, it was understaffed and breakfast choice was limited. Compared to other options in the same neighborhood, it seems a bit overpriced.

One of the best hotels in Europe!

This is one of the most beautiful comfortable hotels we have ever stayed in and we have been throughout Europe on many trips! The staff were lovely, the room spectacular, breakfasts delicious and overall an amazing experience within which to enjoy Antwerp. The staff we met were exceptional - friendly, helpful and so welcoming. And located in a quiet neighborhood, easy steps from old Antwerp, and lots of restaurants. Wonderful stay!

Just an all around great place to stay - I love Antwerp and this place is so beautifully done and close to everything. The staff are beyond helpful and warm - as a constant traveler those two things always make the biggest impact for me. And dog friendly - I mean...just amazing.

LOVE!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this cute boutique hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely comfortable and at home. The rooms are each so unique, welcoming, and comfortable. You can tell every detail of design in this hotel was really thought out! The rooms on the main floor are also so inviting, and we enjoyed a nightcap every night in the bar or living area by a fire. The staff is so friendly and were even kind enough to make us nightly reservations at their favorite restaurants. The hotel is in a great central location to walk to about everything you need! We would definitely stay here again!

Everything about this hotel is amazing. Let's start with the team - they are wonderful. They care about their hotel and guests so much, and would do anything to make your visit wonderful. The rooms are great, interesting and comfortable, the courtyard is beautiful, and the breakfasts are spectacular. Lots of personal touches!

Superb hotel for Valentine's in beautiful Antwerp

This was our first visit to Antwerp. We arranged the trip quite last minute and booked our rooms at Hotel de Witte Lellie before anything else as there was a good offer on the room and it looked beautiful. The hotel did not disappoint, it lived up to all of our expectations. The room was impeccably clean, simply and comfortably furnished with unusual architectural features. We liked the combination of old style elegance with modern furnishings. The high ceilings, large windows thoughout and grand fireplaces in the lounges and breakfast room were all enlivened by the shimmering wall coverings, polished floors and the flickering of candles and fires blazing in the hearths. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We were greeted at the door before we had even had a chance to find the bell and our hosts went to great trouble to find us a table at some very good restaurants. We had not had the foresight to book a table in advance for Saturday night. As this was Valentine's night many of the restaurants were fully booked but after making about 15 calls on our behalf, the staff managed to get us a table at Gist which was perfectly good. The breakfasts were excellent, all very fresh and with a good selection of fare. This we took in the delightful breakfast room overlooking the formally laid out courtyard. With its smart tradtional style kitchen at one end, where eggs and toast were prepared to order, it felt a little like staying at the house of friend rather than being in a hotel.

Geat boutique hotel!

Rooms were very comfortable and the lobby areas were cozy. The only negative was the outrageous price for the continental breakfast which I wished was included in the room rate.

We arrived at this the last hotel of our trip after an intense ten day driving tour around Europe and were tired having covered some 2500 miles. The staff were so very friendly and extremely helpful and we were delighted to have been upgraded to the best suite in the hotel which was just amazing. The hotel really made our short stay in Antwerp very special and we left very happy and refreshed. We would will return to Antwerp which is a lovely city and definitely stay at the De Witte Lelie.
