Disliked: Cleanliness
We had a 9 night stay at this property. The pool was great, we paid extra for it to be heated and it was perfect, the kids loved it. The outside area is large, however needed a little TLC, maybe following on from the storms the previous week, lots of peeling paint and debris. Overall the house was good, cleanliness in my opinion could be slightly better some of the bed sheet were stained, sticky marks on light switches and quite a lot of dust around esp on light fixtures. The kitchen had a rotten smell all the time we were there, could not put our finger on what it was, my husband clean everything, we could only put it down to some suspicious stains on the ceiling…! Overall it just needs a little TLC. However I am quite particular…! My son on our second day kicked his ball over into the next door garden, the gentleman living there was less than impressed and refused to give it back, he was extremely rude…thankfully his wife was kind and gave it back…something to remember, play over towards the BBQ to avoid confrontation! It was a 10minute walk to the nearest food shop as well as a handful of other shops and restaurants, a further 15/20min walk to the centre of Caleta de Fuste and its shops and restaurants, a lovely walk along the sea front, we had some great meals out and very reasonably priced. Overall would recommend for a break in the sunshine.
