Such a delightful stay! Rooms were beautifully designed and all had balconies that looked onto the street so you could enjoy the surroundings Breakfast items were very good . Easily walkable to marina and shopping and good restaurants and museums. Would definitely stay here again. And The Texan restaurant has DELICIOUS true to taste Mexican food that we are used to with the flavors similar to the USA in case you are looking for a change of palette. Book here - you won’t regret!

Great boutique hotel.

Lovely new hotel. Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurants in the hotel that are inexpensive and tasty. Try the bakery next door, you won't be disappointed. Just a few minor things that would take it from tremendous to outstanding. First, an additional trash can needs to be in the bedroom, preferably with a recycling slot. Second, the addition of facial tissues would be much appreciated. And lastly a more comfortable chair in the bedroom, something with some padding so that you can sit in comfort and not on the bed.

This is a truly exceptional hotel. The owner is an American transplant and has thought of everything. The hotel is very clean, nicely decorated and has a few restaurants that draw a lot of locals. It is very centrally located as well. Easily the best choice in a great small city.

First-class service in a first-class setting!

We loved our stay here! The service was impeccable. Pedro the manager shoeed us to our rooms, brought and made an extra bed after a mixup with the booking (not their fault), remembered us by name and ssked if we needed anything whenever we passed. He even gave us tips on festas and things to do around the island. Pedro and the owner were more involved around the property than any upper-level staff I've ever known, including pouring coffee and bringing our plates to the table during Sunday brunch. Just a delightful stay! High class hotel but with good value and not at all pretentious. Will stay again on our next visit to Terceira!

My cousin & I chose this hotel as a base camp for hiking on Terceira because of its close location to Monte Brasil, the harbour & lots of restaurants. All the staff were very kind, thoughtful & helpful. We were checked in by Fluberto, who gave us good advice for our 1st hike & Lisandra connected us with an amazing taxi driver (Vasco) who was bilingual, and assisted us with our late check out request. We met Jeff, the owner & his lovely dog (Whiskey)- you can tell he has put a lot of thought into the place. The lobby is clean, minimalist, with a nice decor. The elevator runs smoothly, albeit on the smaller side (typical of European hotel elevators though), and the floors are also accessible via stairs. There were a couple of steps up from the entrance to the lobby- not sure if there is an accessible option they can provide (like a ramp). Our room was well decorated- the furniture, the colours, and decor were tasteful. Everything was clean, the bed was firm (maybe too firm for me, but other may enjoy it more). The soaps/shampoos were all local/Azorean products. The tap water is drinkable, but they still provided a bottle and glasses. The room contained a working safe, and plug-points with USB type A and C outlets as well- perfect for travellers from outside EU. The hotel is close to many amenities including pharmacies, shops & restaurants- it is also attached to its own delicious bakery, as well as an American-themed restaurant (busy with locals!). Would stay again!

Good location for this new property within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and tourist sites. The smaller rooms have no drawers for clothes and a tiny closet by chair w desk so plan accordingly. Restaurant is good though corn tortillas for tacos are rather dry and tough to eat. Staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast is good w eggs, pancakes, bread, variety of fruit and sliced meat as well as granola and cereals plus yogurt. Coffee is good.

It was an amazing stay. It’s a modern hotel in central location. It was clean and within walking distance from restaurants and botanical garden. We were especially impressed with its staff. Pedro brought us a hot tea when we came at night after the two delayed flights. He was always cheerful and helpful. We liked the breakfast.

Very nice hotel and extremely convenient location. The staff were very helpful. The bed was very comfortable, the room is soundproof. There is no dedicated parking but there were plenty of street parking spaces in front of the hotel. I just wanted to note that there is no tea kettle or coffee machine in the room, not that I didn’t know about that, it’s just unusual. However there is a tea kettle in the breakfast area that one can use. So overall highly recommended

Awesome new boutique hotel. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff. They went above and beyond to make our two nights there memorable. Met the owner and he seemed very involved in both the hotel and restaurant day to day activities. couldn't recommend this hotel more. Breakfast included was great.
