This was a very pleasant overnight stay. The pub/inn is stylish and fits well in the rural setting. The room was comfortable, clean and warm and the bed was really comfortable - which assured a good night's rest. The evening menu offered a selection of choices, including vegetarian options. Breakfast was plentiful and with a good selection of hot and cold options. The staff were very pleasant.

Nice place
We stayed here overnight during August. The room was very nicely furnished & decorated & supplied with coffee, water etc & USB charging points. The photo on the website doesn't do the rooms justice - they are much nicer than they look on the photo! Unfortunately the room & bathroom got the daytime sun & the curtains and window were open when we arrived so was very hot at night although a (much needed) fan was provided in the room. There was also a spotlight over the back door which shone directly into our room & stayed on all night - it needs moving further down the wall! The pub is in a lovely village, quiet & remote & we had a nice evening meal outside & a good breakfast. It is just a few miles away from Thruxton racetrack so very convenient for us!
