The stay was ok. I stayed two nights and it sounded like there was drug dealing going on in the rooms around me. People coming and going all night long. Then they charged a damage deposit for smoking in the room when I was the only person who stayed there and I do not smoke! They were contacted and told as much and still charged. Beware of staying here!

great stay in City that doesn’t clear/grit sidewal

called shuttle from airport and it arrived a few minutes later - very efficient, lovely lobby with gas open fire and easy chairs. efficient check in and elevator, nice large room with efficient heating and fridge + microwave. comfortable bed, nice side view of lake. lots of eating options within 5 minutes walk. (but authorities hadn’t cleared or gritted the sidewalks so I was marooned in the hotel unless I took a cab or Uber - wouldn’t bother to visit city in Winter again- too dangerous)

The inside of the unit was clean and there was breakfast in the main lobby each morning. There was always someone on staff at the desk. However, the area of town was getting a bit run down and hobo's were all around. It didn't feel safe.

The key card locks on all the guest rooms were not working so the apparently only desk staff personnel on site (at a time) had to accompany guests to their room each time they went to or returned to their room. The two clerks during our stay, however, did seem to do their job without complaint.
