Thanks for taking the time to review us Paul. We're pleased you like our waterfront setting, but disappointed to read you found our accommodation to be very basic, as our facilities are often why other guests rate us very highly. We appreciate your room is adjacent to the communal guest area, however we are very small homestay property, so it's not really a 'public area' and in fact, there was only one other guest staying the night you were with us. Apologies our style of accommodation isn't suitable for you, but many thanks for staying & reviewing us.
