Pontyclerc is really great value and quality accommodation. Jane and Nigel are super hosts and the whole place is immaculate and clean. Stayed many times as it’s the best in the area.

This place and it's owners Jane and Nigel worth driving 8 hours to see them and enjoy every bit of your stay in this beautiful place. Will definitely be back and this time for a few nights to enjoy the scenery, chat, walk and everything else to it's fullest.

We felt thoroughly looked after from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left. Jane and Nigel really looked after us. Our room was clean and very comfortable (with an amazing bathroom!). We had a coffee machine with pods, kettle with sachets and teabags, plus cookies. It was exactly what we were looking for. The room wasn't very large, but plenty of space for a night's stay. I felt relaxed from the moment we walked in the door. The full traditional breakfast was fantastic, although I really wish I'd tried the Welsh breakfast complete with cockles and laver bread! They were flexible about our arrival and departure time and were on hand to ask any questions throughout our stay. Thank you Jane and Nigel!
