It was very clean. Just an old building. Lighting was poor in the rooms and things like the air conditioner and shower bar needed maintenance. (Noisy). But overall the price was excellent and everything seemed clean! The tv kept going off line so we had to get help with that. I’m personally grateful for the affordable price. We just needed a clean place to sleep and get back on the road

Fully booked and noisy. An indoor pool in the lobby right next to rooms with teens yelling and splashing is not a good choice. The elevator didn't work and we had to bring our luggage and pet up & down all 3 flights of stairs. The tv didn't work - in all 3 of the rooms they moved us to. Leslie, the only person on staff that night, tried her best to handle our needs and checking in others. But she couldn't fix our tv issue and couldn't reach a manager. She was courteous & apologetic. Potholes and mud in the parking lot made a difficult unloading and walking to the hotel. The room was clean, but the bathroom had cracked tile and obvious painting over where mold and mildew issues were. The showerhead was filled with lime scale and was very inefficient. No plug for the tub made it impossible to soak in a bath. Overall one of the worst hotel experiences. In the morning they told me at check out they would refund our pet fee and have the manager contact us. I have not heard from them, or seen said refund yet, now more than a week later.

Nice staff. Did have to ask for clean towels 3 times and never did we get any delivered. My family of 3 stayed two nights. The pool was freezing disappointed my little boy very much. Stayed in a suite it was very a very cozy room.

The pool was cloudy, hot tub was broken. Walls in room and hotel were gouged and paint was fading. Half the lights in our room did not work. Once we turned off the TV, we were never able to get it to work again. Air conditioning was LOUD. This hotel was terrible. The only good thing was breakfast. It was fresh cooked and very good. Do the corporate people ever inspect their properties? Also only one elevator was working. At checkout, a new employee was left by herself and waiting on the manager who NEVER showed up. She was totally not trained. We will NEVER come back to this hotel. The next night we stayed at Motel 6 in Dallas TX. It was a 5 star hotel compared to this garbage dump in Amarillo. Get it together Motel 6, or we will not stay at your "hotels" again. We do a lot of travelling. You have lost a customer. Do NOT stay here!!!

The hotel is being remodeled so our room had some issues but it was nice and spacious. The AC did not work, there were stains in the bathroom sink, the TV in the bedroom didn't work with either remote & we had issues with our room keys. The breakfast was a good start but no selection of juice or foods. Was strictly scrambled eggs, toast and sausage patties.

After driving over 1,000 km that day on our way back home, we stopped at Studio 6 Amarillo – West Medical Center, and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, the receptionist behind the counter was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, even taking the time to share a few suggestions on what to see in town, even though we only had a couple of hours to explore. Fresh coffee was ready in the lobby when we arrived — such a thoughtful touch after a long day on the road. Our room was huge, spotless, and cozy, with a full-size fridge, a mini kitchen (sink, toaster, and cooking counter), and even a coffee machine. Whoever designed this place really thought things through - even the blue-painted ceilings make the large room feel warm and inviting. The shower was excellent - strong water pressure and perfectly hot if you like it that way. After a day of driving, it was so social to be able to take a swim especially since we are in October! Breakfast was hot, served and included, and overall, the property felt comfortable, safe, and relaxed. This place is in a great location, offers fantastic value for money, and gives you everything you need for a comfortable night’s rest or if you want to stay an entire week - or even for an event s they have a huge atrium that can host a reception or an event of at least 100 people.

The air conditioner in the bedroom face of the suite was not working correctly. I let the front desk know and maintenance was supposed to come but never showed. I had a 13 month old so I had to put the playpen under the fan in the sitting area. Since the baby had to sleep in the sitting area, I had to sleep on the couch as well since the bedroom was so hot. I let them know, but they said since I booked through a third-party, there was nothing they could do. The swimming pool seemed to be nice, but it was freezing cold so we could not even get in. The hot tub was not even full of water that had no water in it.
