Well maintained property and the rooms had everything that we needed. Malcolm (owner) and Christine are friendly hosts. We were allowed to roam the property and so we went for a nice stroll and explored one afternoon. We were given idea's as to where to go for our evening meal and the option of eating their if we liked. Would stay there again.

The studios were lovely. Ensuite, kitchen, bar stools with a ledge to have breakfast and look out the window. Sat and had drinks outside on the table and chairs in front of our room and watched various honey eaters enjoying the nectar. Bird life was great. Hosts were friendly and informative of the area. Did the Mary Rattler Amamoor-Gympie-Amamoor (only 2km down the road) so great weekend all round.

It's a great time of year with cool nights and warm days. There are certainly plenty of honeyeaters around at this time of year. So pleased you enjoyed your stay and many thanks for the kind words.

The location was beautiful. Perfect for hiking and getting into nature. A great get away. The studio rooms were cute and quite charming. Breakfast each day was delicious and staff were wonderful.

The lodge exceeded my sister and my expectations.

Pros: Everything
Cons: N/A
Location: N/A
My sister and I stopped at the lodge on our way from Canberra to Bundaburg and after a long drive the very, very clean beautiful room with the most comfy beds was so welcome. The tranquility and peacefulness helped refresh our tired bodies and minds. The clean fresh pool swim was just what we needed to wake us up for the lovely continental breakfast prior to setting off for the last bit of our journey. Catherine and Malcolm were very welcoming and the stay was totally awesome, we would have loved to stay for more days but couldn't. Would recommend the lodge for a quite weekend away or a refresher stay any time. Loved it.

You are right - after a long drive (or even a not quite so long drive) it is great to stop and enjoy a peaceful environment! Maybe you can stay long next time :)
