Our room was recently renovated and very clean throughout. The breakfast that is available (additional charge) was nice and offered many options. All staff members were very friendly and one during the afternoon shift spoke English which was nice. The pool area looked nice and the pool needs cleaning, many bugs floating on top so I got out. I would stay here again.

Great Resort on a peaceful remote island

I really enjoyed my stay at the Kume Island Resort. First off Kume island is a peaceful beautiful place. The hotel is in a good area across the street from the beach (but only partial view of the beach). Itโ€™s about a 15 min taxi ride from the ferry port. Itโ€™s a clean hotel, nice staff and good breakfast. My room was large and recently remodeled and nice. I highly recommend this hotel. If you stay very long on Kume island, I recommend you get a rental car. The hotel staff will help you with this. They have two people on staff that speak great English and were so nice. Kume Island is like stepping back into 1970 in many ways. I love it there.

Great staff, great location

We booked one twin room for 2 nights and arrived to receive a twin room each, at no extra cost. The staff we incredibly friendly and helpful in planning island activities. Everything we wanted to do could be done through the resort from renting bikes to a tour to hate island and even a free shuttle bus to other places of interest on the Island. Was across the road from the beach, many excellent restaurants within 5 minutes walk and the locals were also all extremely friendly and chatty. On site shop had great gifts and every day necessities too.Would recommend to anyone of all ages.
