From May through September, guests have complimentary use of a 17-foot motorboat with a 20 HP engine, ideal for exploring the nearby islands and sheltered waterways.

Fishing is popular throughout the area, and guests can fish directly from the dock or explore nearby fishing grounds by boat. A covered fish-cleaning station with running water and lighting is available for preparing your catch.
The villa is a registered tourist fishing accommodation, making it well suited for guests visiting Norway to fish.

Peaceful Coastal Setting
The villa is located in the municipality of Alver, surrounded by sheltered waterways, small islands, and traditional Norwegian boathouses.
The area is ideal for boating, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, and scenic walks.
Everyday conveniences are close by. Lindås Senter, with supermarkets, shops, a pharmacy, and other essential services, is approximately five minutes away by car. A petrol station, takeaway restaurant, and the Westland Hotel Restaurant are also nearby.
For sightseeing, Bryggen, the Fløibanen Funicular, museums, the aquarium, and the rest of central Bergen can all be reached in approximately 50 minutes by car.
Whether you're here to fish, explore the fjords, visit Bergen, or simply enjoy a few quiet days by the water, the villa provides a comfortable base for experiencing Norway's west coast.
Additional Information
Seasonal Motorboat
A complimentary 17-foot motorboat is available from May 1 to September 30 (weather permitting). Fuel is provided on a full-to-full basis.
Boat Requirements
Guests must be 16 years or older to operate the boat. Previous boating experience is recommended due to the rocky coastline. A standard boat agreement must be signed before use.
Boat Insurance
The boat is fully insured. Guests are responsible for a NOK 4,000 deductible in the event of damage.
Kayaks & Paddleboards
Kayaks and two stand-up paddleboards are available during the main boating season.
Optional Hot Tub
A private inflatable hot tub is available by advance reservation for NOK 1,000 per stay. Fresh water is prepared for every booking. Please allow at least 48 hours' notice.
Registered Tourist Fishing Accommodation
The villa is a registered tourist fishing accommodation and includes a covered fish-cleaning station with running water and lighting. Current Norwegian regulations for registered tourist fishing accommodations apply.
Additional Boat Rental
A newer Øien 530 with Yamaha 40 HP, or a Yamarin 56 SC equipped with Yamaha 100 HP and Garmin Echomap 720 fish finder, may be available for rent for stays of one week or longer.
A valid Norwegian boat licence (or an equivalent licence accepted in Norway) is required. Please enquire in advance regarding availability and pricing.
Airport & Cruise Transfers
Transfers to and from Bergen Airport or the Bergen cruise terminal may be available by prior arrangement. Please contact us before booking to confirm availability.
