Stayed for one night, we had 3 jack Russell’s who were welcomed. Lovely food, great location, nice locals

We had a lovely nights stay at the tavern, we arrived after staff had left so the owner kindly came all the way out to accomodate us and she was super friendly and inviting. Quiet nights sleep with easy parking out front of the hotel. The only downside was the shower, screen was not very secure so water went all over the bathroom floor. Other than this it was a pleasant stay.

You get what you pay for - cheap accommodation
The room was not great …. Carpet didn’t look clean, mould in the bathroom, TV volume didn’t work. Central heating didn’t work although an electric fan heater was provided (not safe to use when sleeping) Electric socket directly next to kids bunk beds

Stayed in twin room which suited us for a couple of nights. Stocked with choice of drinks , biscuits and toiletries which was a nice treat. Enjoyed meal in the tavern itself . Would return again without hesitation. Our dog was also made welcome. Shops etc very close by

Although the Restaurant gets excellent reviews the accomodation leaves a lot to be desired. Radiatir not working, damp smell in accomodatuon an room, carpet in need of deep clean or to be replaced. Shower cubicle showing moluld and damp coming througw a couple of walls. All in all not a pleasant experience.
