Hotels & Accommodation near Alishan Chiayi County Library

Would easily recommend staying here as the staff were very helpful and the location was perfect. Note there is no car park at the property but you can park at the top of the hill close by for free public parking so you need to be fit enough to take your luggage up stairs at the hotel and down a steep road for about 50m to get to the hotel from the carpark. Very busy on weekends with local tourists so during week probably best. Room was a little worn but very clean and unique, great views and nice tea service provided. Breakfast is a voucher for 7/11 next door but thats better than it sounds as there is plenty of choice. The bento box was excellent value and lots of really interesting shops around.

A fantastic location in the mountains to have your stay in Alishan outside the forest. My wife and I decided to stay here after staying in Alishan Forest so we could do the Shizhuo Trails. Joan our host was amazing. She picked us up with our luggage from the bus stop and dropped us off at the trails so we could enjoy it at our own pace before sunset. She also gave great recommendations for dinner near Shizhuo bus stop opposite the 7 eleven for the local food and picked us up after dinner back to the accommodation. Excellent service and going above and beyond she also pointed us to a lovely sunrise spot about a 20mins walk from the accommodation. She gives great service and advise for any plans you have including advising us to take an earlier bus down to Chaiyi so that there would be space on board. Rooms are extremely clean and everything was working well including the wifi and there was also hot&cold water dispenser. Would come back again.
