Our returning guests have loved the peaceful privacy, convenient location and extra touches that make this vacation home an unforgettably amazing experience. Come enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Marin from the large screened porch on the main level and spacious patio and cooking area on the lower level.

Six private bedrooms sleep fourteen in beds. Two levels make this home perfect for multiple families. Main level has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area with fantastic views. Lower level has 3 bedrooms, kitchenette, bathroom and large living area also with beautiful views. Master has king bed, bedroom 2 has bunk beds and twin bed with twin trundle (sleeps 4), bedroom 3 has king bed, and all other bedrooms have queen beds. Breathtaking views of lake from three of the private bedrooms, kitchen, upper and lower level dining rooms/living areas, large screened porch and large covered patio. 65” flat screen TV and DVD player in upper den, 55" TV with DVD player in lower den, 39” flat screen TV and DVD player in master bedroom. 32" TV in extra bedroom. 100 plus DVD movies (wide variety) for your enjoyment. Perfect house and location

We love this house! Our family has stayed at this great house exclusively for the last 12 years for our long weekend getaways. The house is just what we want and need for our large family. I love sitting on the upper screened porch with my coffee and watch the sun rise over the lake. It’s the perfect way to start my day before we spend the day swimming off the dock and boating on the lake. The owner/host is always easy to communicate with if I have any questions and ensures the house is comfortable and ready for us.

Alexander City Peaceful Lakehouse

My Family, 15 people, loved our week at the Lakehouse. Family had a blast, my 3 rating for the location was due only to the time and gas $ to travel to the southern section of Lake Martin by our rented Pontoon boat. The house was / is fantastic, plenty of room. All of us just loved our time at the home and on the lake. We've never had a better family vacation together!

Annual family getaway

We love staying at this house. We’ve chosen to stay at this house for our annual family vacation since 2012. The location is convenient to a marina, stores and restaurants. The house is always clean and equipped with what we need. The screened in upper porch is the perfect place to have our morning coffee and watch the sun rise. To top it all off, the owner is very friendly and quick to respond to any questions.

Relaxing long weekend get away

This home and its location was perfect for our family. The house was clean and well kept, stocked with games and plenty of room for everyone. Everyone had their own private area for winding down after the days activities as well. The setting on the lake was beautiful, and this was thebperfect time of year as it was very quiet and the weather was perfect. Gingers communication was outstanding as well. We hope to make it back and stay here again in the future.

Wonderful Property

Our family enjoyed staying in this wonderful, very clean home. We brought a canoe and enjoyed the best day paddling around in Lake Martin in front of this home. The home has 6 bedrooms and is ideal for a family. The location is extremely convenient to Auburn.

Auburn game wknd stay

This past wknd was my wife’s bday and the auburn/uga football game. We had 5 couples in our group. There was plenty of room for all of us. The view is incredible, all of the amenities are 5*, short drive to auburn. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this property.

Family reunion

We had our first get together at this house in September of 2020 and fell in love with it . House is beautiful and very clean. Plenty of room for 12 people. Love the screened in porch and downstairs patio and fire pit. The large dock has room to park 3 boats . Great parking for vehicles and boat trailers also. The Boat launch ramp is a short 10/15 minute drive from the House and less than 5 minutes by boat.

This is a beautiful home located in a great part of the lake. Not too busy so you can enjoy the pier area, and just a short boat ride to anywhere you want to go. Will definitely rent again!!

Great property all around

The house was very clean and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. This is the third place we’ve stayed in at Lake Martin and this one has been the nicest and largest. We had plenty of room for our 3 families to spread out and have still have plenty of room. The downstairs was like a house on its own. We can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful views

The home was well described on the listing. While it is very dated as the pictures show, it was clean and had everything we needed. Beware that the steps are of jagged stone staggering down to the bottom with no hand rail. When it rains they are very slick and uneven. We had a woman in her 50s in our party slip on stairs rolling down hill and broke two bones in her leg. A very Unfortunate incident. I would be careful with anyone older and would not recommend this place for anyone older or who has concerns about walking down steep stone steps. The ems service was very friendly and had a special chair gurney/lift to make the over 40 foot vertical ascent up after the horrific fall. The location for us was far from restaurants by boat. On our faster boat it took about 40 min at 30/40mph to the social and chuckwallas marina pizza. If you stay here I would plan on eating all meals in unless driving to restaurant.
