Terrible experience.

Very disappointed, hotel is massively overpriced, room was unbelievably tiny, couldnt go on to balcony because the noise from the many building sites was absolutely awful, guy on reception was unfriendly, and unhelpful, wouldnt answer the phone when we were trying to find out why all the power had gone off??? ( leaving the many stairs in complete darkness, so we had to use our phone torch to get up and down ) albufeira old town was really dirty, the main square had to be seen to be believed ( and not in a good way) in fact the best thing about this accommodation was when we left and went to another hotel, so we could salvage what was left of our holiday.

Great little find

I picked this place as the reviews were so good, and i was not disappointed. Lovely quiet location but still only 10mins walk from the bustle of Old Town. Room was clean, staff friendly and aircon worked great. Lovely comfy bed too! Would definitely recommend

Fabulous view from terrace. Frentomar is well situated in Old Town region with lots of restaurants and bars. Rooms are modern and kept very clean. Bruno and cleaning staff were very helpful and nice. My wife and I highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Perfect location overlooking the beach and ocean. We did not have a working safe and we had a sewar smell occasionally from the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and all that Albufiera offers.

A very basic property with no amenities and only provide 2 sachets of coffee, tea and sugar as a 'welcome gift' no further top ups provided, ended up buying my own. Obviously been spoilt in the hotels I use for work 3/4 times a week. Best of all had to pay 25 euros for the broken kettle. At least I didn't get charged for the glass I dropped. In fairness the place was clean but a few niggle points for me. It is located a short walk from the Old Town and is quiet.

Great hotel in a good location right at the front overlooking the sea. Well placed as you’re only a short walk into the old town square or the Marina. Spotlessly clean and staff are very friendly. The views from the front facing rooms are fabulous. Not all rooms have a balcony so just check when booking. Nice little restaurants and bars close by.

Everything we wanted and more for our first stay in the Algarve/Albufeira. The accommodations were comfortable, we chose the top floor unit overlooking the beautiful beach that had very easy access and conveniently an elevator that would take you up and down, which was great after a day in the sun. Also enjoyed the markets close by to get water and beer to cool you down and also some great cafés that offered nice breakfast options or a mid afternoon snack. If there was one negative that I could say it would be the stairs leading up to the top floor can be a bit steep if you are carrying larger luggage, but Bruno was a great help with assisting us with that. Having a communal kitchen available was also nice. The location of this hotel was just what we needed as it was close enough to the hustling bustle of Old Town Albufeira but far enough that you can enjoy a decent sleep. Would definitely go back

Fantastic view of the beach and water. Easy access to the beach (steps away from the elevator), lots of restaurants within short walking distance in Old Town. 20 minute walk to marina for boat tours. This was my 2nd visit here and hope to go back again.
