Beware!
The good points are; very good patisserie next door plus a good supermarket 2 minutes walk. Location, easy walk to the town centre. Very peaceful and secure location as it is a private gated estate. Bad points; the whole house needs a complete makeover, everything is old and scruffy. Also it requires a deep clean, we deliberately only slept there and stayed out most of the time because it is so dirty. The floor covering at the entrance to 1 of the bedrooms is in such bad condition that it is a safety hazard where you could easily trip over. During our stay the vent in the toilet ceiling fell down, luckily it did not hit anyone. The toilet stopped working but we reported it and someone arrived and mended it within a few hours. However the day of our departure the toilet stopped working again and we had to "flush" it with pans of water from the kitchen. The garden also needs a lot of attention and just outside the patio doors was an open tub half full of old cigarette ends which smelled terrible. Definitely the worst holiday let l have ever stayed in.

Propriétaire très sympathique , mais problème humidité
Après la découverte d'un lave-vaisselle cassé (la foudre! la propriétaire nous informant qu'elle l'avait retiré de l'annonce, mais il y apparait toujours au moment de notre arrivée), nous avons eu un problème avec le parasol, très rapidement et efficacement réglé par la propriétaire et je l'en remercie . On note aussi, que Le lino à l'étage dans le couloir n'étant pas collé, il y a une bosse au bout du couloir devant la porte de la chambre. Le problème le plus significatif , pour que cette maison retrouve le faste des premiers avis, est de régler les infiltrations d'eau ( ou dégâts des eaux?) qui rendent la maison humide et avec une enfant allergique, ce ne fut pas de tout repos . Sous l'évier de la cuisine, la présence d'une barquette avec des serpillères indique qu'un problème a été réparé, mais l’humidité était encore là à la mi-août; de même la présence de moisissures dans l'escalier montant à l'étage corrobore cette réalité , des cloques le long des plafonds à l'étage sont à noter . Je souhaite très sincèrement que vous puissiez trouver le temps, avant de relouer ,de régler cette problématique, car la maison est très calme , bien agencée et très bien située et que sa propriétaire est très agréable et réactive!

Notre séjour a été marquée dès le début par un très bel accueil du propriétaire. L'emplacement est situé dans un cadre sécurisé et à proximité des commerces et du centre ville.
