It's a little off the beaten path if you're looking to be right in there by Empire State Plaza, etc (about a 15-minute walk) but close to the theater and a great bar/restaurant in one of Albany's oldest buildings (The Olde English Pub). The hotel is pretty new and in good shape. I found the $28 parking fee a bit pricey given that the hotel is in a reclaimed industrial area with plenty of open space. Valet parking seemed needless/out of place for this location.
