The room was spacious and very comfortable with top notch interior design. The service was also impeccable from the valet service to the check in orientation and the breaksfast buffet. Walking distance to center of Aix. Better than the Ritz.

Very disappointed that I couldn’t do a business board call in my room because of very poor WiFi . I did get a private room for 90 minutes but then I had to leave it as it was booked for something else and go to a lounge bar area with other guests were there talking & walking around , I moved to dining room but again staff moving around . Very bad for a 5 star which I never experienced before.

Beautiful hotel. Disappointed in the room. Deluxe Room (10) was extremely dark as it was on ground level surrounded by high vegetation. And was very warm. Aircon didn’t work and couldn’t open windows due to being at ground level and when we did they attracted mosquitoes and a local cat… we were offered a different room but at an extra €500 in addition to what we’d paid for, was not accepted!

Our room was spectacular - large and with 2 bathrooms! Breakfast was included and had lots of options. The hotel is a luxurious property, very quiet, and downtown Aix is close by and very walkable. A highlight was the large swimming pool and its associated hot-tub. Villa Saint Ange was one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed at!

Villa Saint-Ange is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are refined and elegant, and the whole property feels authentic and historic yet refreshed at every turn—immaculately clean and beautifully maintained without ever feeling overly modern. The perfect balance of old-world charm and today’s comforts. I’m a stickler for bathrooms, and theirs are amazing—spacious, elegant, and spotlessly clean. The staff truly goes above and beyond. We had a small hiccup with service at the restaurant on our first night, but they handled it with such grace—sending coffees and treats to our room and making sure the rest of our stay was flawless. Dinner at the restaurant itself was a lovely experience. What makes this place so special is its romantic, intimate feel. It’s not a large hotel—it feels more like staying in a beautiful garden home in France. Perfect for someone wanting to slow down, detox, and just enjoy quiet luxury. Curl up with a book, linger over a coffee, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The location is ideal too: just a short, easy walk into Aix, yet tucked away enough to feel private and serene.
