Tajview is located at a perfect location to view Taj from the rooftop. Staff are very welcoming, breakfast was delicious, rooms were comfortable and pool was relaxing. A nice hotel for families.

On arrival to the hotel the staff were very welcoming and professional. All the staff were smartly dressed. We were offered a paid upgrade to a suite with a beautiful view of the Taj Mahal. We were then shown to our suite by the gentalment at reception. The suite was fitted with a large oval bath, shower and toilet and a separate vanity toilet. Every thing was clean and tidy. Fully air conditioned and we were presented with a welcome gift of chocolates. All the staff were very helpful and provided us with extra bottles of water with no fuss. We ate on the Sky Deck which was located on the rooftop with a fabulous view of the Taj Mahal. The waiters and chef that were on that evening were very helpful but regrettably we can not remenmber their names. As we were the remaining guests on the rooftop we requested them to turn off the music so we could soak up the ambience of our surroundings. They brought over bug repelent incense around us but unfortunatley the bugs love me for breakfast, lunch and evening meal. So if you are like me please use extra spray. The Food was excellent in both the rooftop and at breakfast. This Hotel has a 5 start rating and very much deserves it. The surrounding area doesnt do it any favours but the hotel in our opinion was exceptional.

An experience we will cherish.

We stayed at Tajview, Agra IHCL SeleQtions from 30th to 31st July 2025 and had a truly memorable experience. The ambience was wonderful, and the warmth of the staff made our short stay very special. The team was incredibly friendly and attentive. The buffet manager took great care of us and ensured everything was perfect. I was especially impressed to meet staff members who have been with the hotel for decades. We met Raju (37 years with the group), and a lovely lady who has been there for 17 years. Their dedication and long service speak volumes about how well the management treats its people. All the staff we interacted with were amazing, helpful, and always smiling. A highlight of our stay was the time my younger son spent with the hotel’s friendly pets, Max and Maya. He adored them and still misses them dearly. This thoughtful touch added a homely charm to our stay, and we only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more. The breakfast spread was very good, and once again the staff made the experience delightful with their care and hospitality. Amit (Catering) was caring and friendly and the service was first class Overall, Tajview felt warm, welcoming, and full of genuine hospitality. This is an experience we will cherish.

The property lacks charm and its restaurants options are clearly overpriced for the quality you get. We had dinner on the rooftop which offers a view of Taj Mahal; while expensive, menu was limited and food was disappointing. Breakfast buffet quality was also largely below average. The room was clean and functional. We had however to request the staff to open our door systematically as our magnetic card would not work, which was annoying. Location is fine as main sites are relatively close by car.

The hotel is beautiful, our room was spacious, and the bathroom was modern and roomy. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable. Our minibar, which was complimentary, was lacking. It had very few drinks and snacks, with many open cubbies that had not been replenished. The rooftop restaurant food was ok, but not the gourmet kitchen the hotel boasts of. It is by far one of the nicest properties in the area, and the staff are all warm and helpful. The breakfast buffet was quite good, as were the cocktails. The hotel also had two resident yellow labs, Max and Maya, who are cute as can be. Our guide for the TakMahal easily found us and brought us to the Taj gates by tuktuk, and this hotel is perfectly close if, like us, you are in Agra to visit the Taj Mahal.

Highly recommend this amazing property

Amazing hotel - wonderful location, great staff and service. The pool was great.. but wish the pool and sky deck was open longer .. sky deck should be open early morning and pool should be open at least till 10pm.. sky deck opening at noon is way too late especially in the summer.

Very close to Taj Mahal. Safe hotel with a great gym and pool. Very clean and welcoming. Staff were able to hold luggage until check in time and also hold luggage after check out until our train time. I booked a room for our family of 4, with meals, and it was one of the best decisions. It was a great dinner and breakfast buffet that we all loved. Perfect to visit Taj very early in am and get back to hotel for buffet breakfast and then head back to Agra Fort, Baby Taj etc and then head back for dinner buffet. Would highly recommend it for anyone’s once in a lifetime visit to Taj Mahal.

The Taj View very quickly became the most incredible hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life. Quite simply they are a luxury hotel that doesn’t treat you like VIP, they treat you like FAMILY! By the end of our first day every single service member knew who we were BY NAME, which room we were staying in, why we were visiting Agra, and even took time to remember small little facts about us. For example, they noticed after I handed them my passport that it was my birthday a day prior, by the time we got to the room it was decorated, sweet treats were brought up, a reservation was made for us at the Sky Deck, and a birthday cake was brought out to celebrate at the end of our dinner. Every service member stopped what they were doing throughout the day to wish me a happy birthday! The best part of the stay though was easily Max and Maya, the hotel dogs! They were so friendly and sweet. As someone who has a major soft spot for animals, being in India was difficult with seeing all the street dogs. We were greeted at the door of the Taj View by sweet Maya and the moment I was told I could pet her my heart melted like ice in Delhi heat! The staff noticed my love for the dogs and made sure anytime we made our way into the lobby that they were both released so I could pet them. They followed us around and we enjoyed their company immensely. We booked our Taj Mahal experience through the Taj View as well. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with this experience. It’s worth booking!

All the staff were very friendly and accomodating. The close location to the Taj is very nice. We enjoyed the food and friendly service at restaurant and the roof top area. Overall a great stay
