Stayed for a night. Staff is very friendly, but the cleanliness is terrible compared to western standards. It’s okay to spend a night though.

Bed bugs/ cockroaches in the room.
We stayed here for 2 nights. The staff were friendly and pleasant but the room lacked freshness and was dated. Worst if all there were bed bugs and we left with many bites on our back/arms. There were also several cockroaches in the room. The bathroom shower curtain was not long enough so it would make the whole floor wet. Wouldn't recommend this place at all.

We arrived very late and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. They upgraded our room and made sure we had everything we needed.

It was comfortable for just one night. The location is good. When we arrived, there was a party going on in the restaurant and people were sitting everywhere. There was a problem with the water pressure during a shower.

Close to the Taj - within 1k
The hotel was 30 quid + tax which is usual , I choose this because of other feedback from travellers wanting to visit the Taj. The check-in was painless, though you need ID preferably passport. The rooms were ok for one night, adequate parking outside and what seemed fairly good security. The food ( evening meal and breakfast) and beer was ok too. If you get up early to see the Taj , opens at 0600 ( closed Friday's) , the East gate being closet to you , then you can get back to the the hotel for 0830 and have breakfast. The picture of the hotel is deceiving as its really squashed between two buildings and not on its own

Just the bad and the ugly! Good is somewhere else!
Staff tried to sell trips, tours, etc. instantly after arrival, we haven't even seen the room at this point. Bathroom was very dirty and old. No hot water in the shower. Heater after three times asking. Next to the hotel are some very, very, very loud speakers which plays some prayers or something like that the whole day and night, really the whole night! Only one thing was "Ok", the bed. Overall ridiculous for 3 Stars. Wouldn't even get 1 star in Europe. We just stayed one night and switched to "Four Points by Sheraton" a few minute walk away and 20€ more...more than worth it!!!
